There seemed to be quite a few goody 2-shoes that were preaching about how wrong it was to take advantage of the Amazon BOGO glitch. I was joking that they would criticize you for using the $10 off coupon without using a MasterCard(since the coupon was meant for MC users).

Doctor Who S1 works... Dunno if you can find something good to match it. Or buy two if you have a friend that needs it as well...

Well, they were taking advantage of a price mistake. This is actually a discount that they ARE offering, it's just that you are supposed to pay with a Mastercard. Amazon was certainly not intending to give away DVD's for free... That's comparing apples to oranges. That being said, I have no problem with taking advantage of price mistakes. But if Amazon cancels their orders because they caught the mistake, they have no reason to gripe. If something is too good to be true, you shouldn't expect to get away with it (and complain if you don't)...

1 Time Use? What if you make another account and use the same master card again? Anyone gotten the code to work more than once?

The cheaper one comes in a box shaped like a Cylon head. The more expensive one is just a regular box with a Cylon head picture. I can't justify paying more for a normal box. Seems dumb to me...

Seems to work multiple times. You don't even have to create a new account, just log out of your existing account and check out without creating a new account.

any chance I can use a Visa card instead of a Mastercard? I don't seem to have a mastercard.

hopefully they are still adding sets to this sale. I was thinking about picking up Deep Space 9, but only Seasons 3-6 are part of the deal - which seems kinda odd to me.

Found a few things that work, that I want. Now I have to decide if its cheaper to do an order through them or via somewhere like Amazon or DDD.

Any internationals ever had a problem with B&N before?

I have a BN membership, and couldn't log out and apply that as well. I placed two orders (Electric Company V2 & The Muppet Show/The Electric Company V1 & Murder She Wrote S4 (for my mom's b-day)). Getting the $20 savings for the MC code would have cost me nearly $20 in additional purchases and lost BN discounts. I'm slightly annoyed that the Aeon Flux and Sesame Street sets (and most of the Hanna Barbera sets) aren't part of this sale.

This sale includes a much wider range of titles at the B&M B&N stores versus online. ALL TV DVD sets over $29.99 in stock in all B&M stores are included in the sale. The selection available as part of the sale on the B&N website is much smaller. Also, in-store, the 10% off boxset discount is still in effect, so prices for most of these sets are actually cheaper in-store versus on the website.

Figures, you snooze you loose.

I was planning on getting Battlestar v2 & 2.5 for the $33-34 price & was trying to find a $7(or so) dvd to pair it with to use the $10/40 coupon. Didn't complete the looking before having to go to work & now the $ for BSG 2&2.5 are $50 - no 30% discount as was this AM.

Looks like most (if not all yet) sets have lost their normal discount %s. Pretty much reason for me to skip this one.

The terms are now officially up. Glad I got in on this yesterday; now it says only "one per customer" but my orders are already shipping

Dont think I'll get the screw on the backend like others did w/the Amazon "deal" (at least I hope not or this stuff's going back)

So looks like the jacked up the prices and now you can't even use the $10 of $40 MC coupon.

I'll go by my local BN to see but I'll most likely be passing on this one!

Most of the DVDs I wanted are now full price. If I look at somewhere like Amazon or DDD, its still a small saving over getting them at those stores .. but knowing if I had of acted yesturday I could have gotten a few better deals.

Might still have a look around.
