illennium, looks like you're cleaning up house. Great finds on Picnic at Hanging Rock and Coup de Torchon. I had the former in my wish list for days, but never saw it come up. Is there any quicker way to search for criterion titles (except searching for titles under "criterion") or manually searching each title?

nonametofame: Yeah, after this sale, I can eaily sit out the upcoming DDD sale. I'll take $10.xx used mint Criterions over $17 new ones.

As for searching, I didn't find an efficient way to do it--just a combination of manual searches and searches for words indicating titles that might be of interest ("2 disc," "special edition," etc.).

I got the last Rashomon Criterion and the last El Hazard box set. Customer service was great, they took back my Xfiles box from my first order with the damaged hub with a pre-printed shipping label, GREAT customer service. They also had a mix up - wrong CD in the case, they said to keep the CD and they would send me a new one.

No one knows, as the coupon was supposed to expire on the 13th, IIRC.

i just tried to place a sizable order at spun.com filled with used CDs and DVDs (and 1 new CD) and when i entered the ISC409OF code it said: Invalid promotion code entered

is it dead?

At Spun, yes. At Wherehouse, no.

So how often do they do this? I'm thinking of trading a few titles in, but I want to maximize what I buy with the credit.

Has anyone received their werehouse.com order that can vouch on the condition of their USED CDs and DVDs?

All my stuff looked brand new. Only problem was a UPC cut out of a Sideways slipcover and they offered to refund that. The discs were perfect though.

the slipcover comes that way. the UPC is only on the dvd insert. the cutout is so it will read without having to take the dvd out of the slip.

I have received most of my orders and everything has been in excellent condition.

One half of my order was cancelled with no reason given on a wherehouse order...
the product I ordered is still on the website too...

Well it appears the sale is still on. Of the 4 orders i've made i've received one which was in excellent condition, two of my orders shipped last week, and one is still in progress from the weekend. Overall the sale has been good, they do seem to take awhile to ship some items. Took 3 days for them to ship one item, but as long as my orders get here by the end of the week, i won't care.
