They just cancelled my order for the Scream Trilogy. I'm totally pissed. First, it was a great deal. Second, someone above posted that they ordered a copy several days after mine, so how is it out of stock now for my order. It stayed in stock for a few days after I ordered mine. Third, I traded in my copy of Scream 1 to them in the same order, and already sent it in, so now I'm out of that movie without getting it back in the Trilogy. Ugh.

their stock indicator is kind of weird...sometimes they say they have a copy when they don't ..I ordered two different things on two different orders at two different times, both were in stock when I made the order, and they ended up cancelling the items..I would wait to see if they get it in stock again and try to order before the coupon stops working..

Speaking of glitches ... yesterday they had a copy of "The Last Days of Disco" for $40.99 and today it's $999.99. Same with Flash Gordon. I know they're out of print, but yikes.

I think all used items are showing at $999.99 now. Maybe they're making changes to inventory or disabling codes and don't want people ordering used items in the interim.

I just got an email that an item that supposedly shipped in an order last week had been returned and that I was credited for it.

Does this mean it never shipped and the "shipped" status means nothing or did my box get sent back to them or what?

sounds to me like they sent it and it was returned to them for some reason..

I emailed them right back to ask what was going on. Its just wierd that a single item out of a 6 item order would get returned and credited when I'm yet to see any of my 3 orders (all of them supposedly shipped) at my door. My guess is that they never shipped the items so they did a return instead of cancelling the item on the order. I'm hoping they just gave me a refund for no reason and it will be in the box whenever I get it.

Some for me and some for the wife. They had Home Imporovement listed as S3, but the picture was of S2. I need both so it doesn't really matter witch they send. Hopefully, it will be S2 though since S3 doesn't get released 'til Nov.

Interesting. I just check the order on their website and the s/h charges have mysteriously dropped by $10.

For ALL who have ordered from Wherehouse during this sale, how were your items shipped? I've placed five orders, and the first 4 came (very rapidly) via FedEx, however, this fifth order is taking a LOT longer to arrive, and I'm a bit concerned. Their FAQ states they may ship through various sources, and I emailed to ask if they can tell me which method was used for shipping this particular order, but I've yet to receive a reply.

I ordered quite a bit, most came via FedEx from California, but I've had a few items ship via USPS from Florida (some USPS may have been from California too, but I think just FL)

At the start of sale they did ship FedEx and it costed more for s/h.
Now they are using pony express (USPS) and s/h has been a total of $20+ cheaper on my last 4 orders. No big deal for me if they keep cutting s/h off my orders. The totals are different on account pages than in emails.

I just got a response from customer service at wherehouse...they actually responded rather quickly, which was pleasant. This particular order did indeed ship via USPS, and they even gave me the tracking number.

bigjim25, you know, I noticed what you were talking about, with the shipping charge being less than expected...I've placed a total of six orders, and my two most recent orders have a discrepancy between the order status page and what I'm being billed---shipping is much cheaper. I don't mind that AT ALL! Instead of paying 20.95 for the last order, I was charged 8.80. That's MUCH more reasonable, and a pleasant surprise.

Yeah, I'm insane. But so are those prices. I haven't received the last two orders yet, but so far, the only issue I've had was that they sent the Brentwood version of House on Haunted Hill, rather than the WS Warner Bros. version---but it looked a lot better than the version I had previously, so I didn't bother to fuss about it. If Wherehouse and Spun don't have the same inventory, then why do they have the same items in their "just-in" bins? Its odd.

Since spun is the hosting the site application, the 'Just In' bin is actually their list of items which are just in stock. If wherehouse/secondspin happens to have the same title in stock when the list is refreshed, then they will show it as well.

I ordered a used copy of NewsRadio seasons 1-3...it said that it had '1 copy available.' I ordered and noticed that it was just shipped. When I visit the site now, they are complete out of this box set. I am actually amazed that they give out that inventory information. On this last order, done on Monday, all of my items have shipped except for 'Office Space' which is not released for another 10 days. Pretty painless process...

I just checked my account and I got double charged for one of my orders.

I emailed them again about the double charge, but I've yet to get a response from my first email about the returned item I never got.

Over the weekend I recieved all my packages and emails from wherehouse. They refunded the double charge and explained that the refunded item was out of stock.

Out of the 200+dollars of stuff I ordered one cd was scratched. I emailed them to make a return and they emailed back that another cd was sent and that there was no reason to mail the scratched copy back.

Needless to say I'll probably make another order with the new code.

Seems like they have some problems with communication up front, but they make good in the end.

just received my order from them for From the Earth to the Moon, and when i opened up the box set i found out that they forgot to put the disks in!! I just e-mailed them and i hope that they can just send me the disks, if not i'm gonna be a little pissed.

I got my O.C. Season 2 finally... In excellent shap till you take out the DVD holder... Two of the planks are broken and missing pieces. They are not in the box, which means it was like that when they sent it out! I emailed them... They better not pull any of the crap that I can either keep it at 28 bucks... Or send it back and wait till another one comes in... And the sale will be ended!

hmm seems that they're kinda slacking off a bit. hopefully everything works out, especially with my last order.
