Used my credit to pre-order Arrested Devlopment. Too bad I got rid of my crappy DVDs long ago...

Little off topic but regarding pre-used games

Lets say I trade in 5 GAMES that ring up as $2.00 each

That means I get $7.00 each right? I really don't get that flyer

Do the games have to be on the list? Anyone try this?

So they pay 3 for $24, then have a 3 for $25 sale.

Sounds good to me.

Makes more sense than paying $8 then putting it on the shelf for $4.99 - which I have seen.

Forgive me if this has already been covered, but has anyone had any luck w/ $8 trade-ins anywhere in the state of Florida??? I've tried every BB near me in South Florida and no dice. I'm dying here, got a ton I'd like to unload. Thanks.

I'd be interested in hearing from others in the So. Cal area - because I had the same experience as Lasermovies (in the San Diego area, in my case). The staff there hadn't even heard of *any* trade-in deal, and the most information I got was the vague statement that one employee thought they might start taking trade-ins again sometime in the future.

All the stores in the Burbank, Hollywood, West LA area seem to be participating and all had big signs on their windows.

Has anyone found a participating BB in the Twin Cities, MN area? I've tried 5 locations, all to no avail.

1) Hiawassee location in Metrowest.

2) Winter Garden location on 50, out past the West Oaks mall, in the center with the K-Mart.

No I tried too. Although more than one of the TC locations indicated that they probably would be doing the deal in the very near future so who knows...

The manager at my local blockbuster said the games had to be on the list. Of course, I then forgot to ask for the list. LOL

Is there anyway someone can post the list of games on the flyer.

Thanks in advance!!!

Just dropped off a few more at my local BB. I noticed they have put all the movies people have traded in on one rack, and they were either shrinkwrapped or put into some kind of larger plastic case. I saw they had marked pretty much everything $9.99, including all of the ones I brought in last week.

While there was plenty of Laserlight copies of Hitchcock movies and Suicide Kings etc, there were definitely some decent movies on the rack. At least maybe this will add to the choices when the next 3/$25 comes around.

Anyone have any luck trading in the old South Park DVDs, the ones that had 4 episodes per disc? I know they are/were sold individually, but the guy said they weren't in "the system".

That list thing is BS. Yes there is a list in the store, but it's just an example of credit you can get.

Trade in ANY three PS2, GC, or Xbox games and you'll get $5 extra credit per game, period.

The same goes for PSX games I believe (I haven't done it), but you only get $3 extra per game.

Also the one in Greenwood seems to be taking them - they have a HUGE "all DVDs for 8 bucks" banner out front. But I havent actually been in there yet.

Am I to understand that Previously viewed titles obtained through Blockbuster can NOT be traded. I tried to trade a disc that I got from them and was given a big -"NO".

Why

Did anyone else have the same problem?

It's just another example of a Blockbuster employee giving the BS.
