Re: Ollie's Bargain Outlet
I was floored to find the omnis I found. She Hulk was a one off. Here's my theory, the other two closer Ollie's are near comic shops and I think they get cleaned out. BTW, these are all remainders with a black dot on the pages.

Here’s the rest of what I got the other day…massive restock, but then 2 other nearby stores got nothing new.

Nice. Is the Daredevil a hardcopy or a softcover?

Re: Ollie's Bargain Outlet
Due to the various posts here, I decided to stop by local Ollies. Only one omnibus there and it was an opened Guardians Of The Galaxy (Bendis) but in perfect shape. No price sticker on it but a worker there said they could look it up for me at the counter.
The girl didn't give a shit about looking it up and just asked me if 15 bucks was okay. I said sure, seeing it was a $125 book. I had no idea what they were supposed to be since the pictures posted here were hard to tell. She then asked me if 10 bucks was okay and I said that's fine. Got it out the door for $8.49 + tax since I had an Ollie's 15% off coupon. I gave up my place in line for a lady waiting there and the counter girl seemed surprised and called me a gentleman. Guess karma still works from time to time.
Due to the great price, I also picked up a Spider-Man "The Clone Conspiracy" for $14.50 and a Queen "Album By Album" book that got great reviews for $11.
Enthused by my find, I ran by the other Ollies a little further down but they didn't have much there. I picked up the Deluxe Edition of A Superman For All Seasons for 5 bucks.
Not too shabby! Thanks for the posts here!

Nice job! Now, I will have my wife wait in line behind me and I will give up my place for her! Anything for a deal.

Re: Ollie's Bargain Outlet
My Ollies had multiple copies of the X-Men Vol. 2 and X of Swords omnibuses, as well as open copies of the Garth Ennis Punisher and Bendis/Maleev Daredevil. They also had a couple copies of the treasury size FF: Grand Design and History of the Marvel Universe. Nice to see some new stock at the store after months of little change to the comics section.
There is a 15% off coupon that's good until Feb. 14 in the Ollies app, which took a nice chunk out of my purchases.

Re: Ollie's Bargain Outlet
Stopped by the 2 local Ollie's yesterday. Pleasantly suprised that they both had the graphic novels in a a somewhat organized and browse-able manner, on a book shelf with most of the spines out. The last time I saw them, they were on shelves all mixed together with the fronts facing forward, making them a nightmare to browse.
I didn't find anything I wanted. Was especially hoping to see some of those omnis but I only saw Deadpool Minibus 2 (would have picked up if I had the first one) and a Venom Gallery Edition (just picked that up from Book Outlet recently).

Picked up history of the marvel universe for 8.99. I saw a spider-woman masterworks, a daredevil masterworks and a Captain America masterworks volume 12. They were $22.99. I know they retail for $75, but I didn't bite.

this week's ad mentioned a DC and Marvel GN buy, hoping they have something good. Will stop by tomorrow before going to see Batman if I have the time.

Re: Ollie's Bargain Outlet
anything new there? I've tried doing some web sleuthing and this is what I think is going on, if I call a store and ask for the book person or book manager, may times they will say they don't have one. Other times, when I call I get to speak to a specific manager. So, I have looked at their job listings for specific stores and it seems like the ones who are not looking for a book manager get in a better stock of graphic novels.

I ended up buying snacks (obviously) and two cookie sheets.

Don't buy a lot of TPBs or GNs these days, but I'd grab that The Filth hardcover if I saw it.
