re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
Unfortunately the tax thing KIND OF hurts it. KIND OF. Fucking Texas thing that Amazon had to go through here. *sigh*

Never used a locker because they're not close too close to me. And the ones around here are at 7-11's and even at Staples Center, etc.
You simply receive a random six digit code upon your package's delivery, enter it into the locker data terminal and the locker containing your goods pops open. The only drawback is there is a size limitation on items eligible to be shipped to a locker. |
re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
oooooh. I might have size issues with the shit I get at times. Just checked for a locker here. It is on the other side of DFW. And it's only for employees. I think that's where they have their site.

re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
Decided to give Sinister a blind buy as I've kind of wanted to see it and the price is low enough where I think it's worth checking out. Also picked up This is the End. So far I haven't really had any amazing deals I have to say, a lot of decent stuff but nothing I couldn't live without.

Not taking a chance on dropping by Walmart tonight.
I'm hoping that Amazon will have a deal on Person of Interest season 2 and Nikita season 3 at some point. Hell, they are selling Revolution season 1 as a Lightning deal for $9.96 is less than 1 hour. |
re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
I'm actually surprised POI hasn't been on sale yet.

re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
I see Pacific Rim is $7.99 and also a lightning deal in a couple of hours. How much lower could it really go? Is it worth buying now, trying for the lightning deal, and canceling my earlier order?

re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
So if I snagged it at the LD could I cancel my earlier order easily? Haven't tried that sort of thing before.

Got Pacific Rim for $6 and cancelled the one I had originally bought for $7.99. The cancellation went through.

I'm at work right now and just happened to check the calendar. Managed to snag Pacific rim. Surprised it was still available 30 minutes in. Also had a $1.99 which was weird since I preordered a book earlier and didn't have it then. |
re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
I ran to Game Stop for the midnight opening so I just went with the $7.99 Pacific Rim. Thanks for the tips, though.

re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
Has Amazon already done all of their price matching? It seems like by this time last year, that had a bunch of deals up.

Damn, I was going to add World War Z to my order after a lightning deal and now it's back up to $18.99. The 3D one is still $14.99 though, might just get that one instead then.

re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
It's out of stock but you can still lock in the price:

re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
Ok, I see what's happening. It's out of stock, so when I searched for it, another listing shows up for $19.99, sold by someone else but fulfilled by Amazon (I didn't notice that at first). Thanks for the heads up and link though.

re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
Even though Camelot is pretty cheap, it ends incomplete since the show was cancelled. There wasn't a major cliffhanger, but it certainly wasn't a complete open and shut 1 season story.
