Haha, they once thought they could get away with $49.

XXX 15th anniversary edition is $5.55. Cheap enough for me to finally grab it.

The Wishmaster collection (Vestron) video is now down to $22.88. That's the lowest it's ever been.

It's 4 movies for those who aren't aware.

I bought it when it was roughly $35 and change.

All the quarters that their shipping was jacked to $49 which was like the entire 2016.
I know I was hardly buying anything from them and thats the only tried and true fact that I can base on. ;)

Some more random price drops. I'm not sure where they are getting these prices from, because they end in weird amounts.

Loving - $4.06
Star Trek Beyond 3D - $17.17

They're matching Walmart after the store pickup discount

Hard to say how much of those billions of dollars were affected by free shipping thresholds.

Ah, that would explain the weird pricing structure. I didn't realize Walmart offered a discount if ordered online for store pickup. Is that a new thing?

Yes, they started it about a month ago. I was surprised Amazon is matching the pickup amount. That makes them slightly more attractive as you don't have to go to the store to pick up the order.

I also think they may be in a price war on some items. There's a food processor my wife's been wanting that's dropped over $30 in the past 3-4 weeks. Every time I think "now's the time" it drops again.

True. So far I've been fortunate with no damage on Amazon shipments - somewhat remarkable considering how poorly most are packaged. Two of the WM stores here are ~1 mile from my house but with WM store pickup I've never waited less than 5 minutes and almost 20 for one. It's generally been a poor experience but I still do it for items I can't get anywhere else. I just ordered "The Untouchables" complete series for ~$40 w/store pickup. At the time of the order it was ~$10 less than Amazon (now almost $20 less) and worth the hassle as long as I combine the pickup with other shopping.

Must have missed the Star Trek Beyond 3D at $17.17 as it is now $24.99 at both WM and Amazon.

Both Cap and Thor arrived a few days ago. Just finished watching Captain America for the first time since it came out and had a couple of little "Aha!" moments: Near the beginning when pre-serum Steve is out with Bucky and a couple of young women and they are watching Howard Roark presenting his hover-car, Bucky's date is played by Jenna Coleman, a.k.a. Clara from Doctor Who. Later in the movie, after Steve saves the captured soldiers and is waiting outside a general's office, the general's secretary who plants a big kiss on him is played by Natalie Dormer--Margaery from Game of Thrones.

It's been this price at Best Buy for a while. I may have actually got it for $5 in those buy 2, save X amount type of deal with another film.

Too bad they didn't add the original film as bonus material. There would be plenty of room on a br!

This is the Ultimate Edition, a recent re-release with a second disc with lots of extras, I'm pretty sure that is the cheapest it's been so far. You're probably referring to the original BD.

Couldn't happen--the two films are owned by different studios. Warner controls the original; Universal owns the 2005 remake (and Paramount owns the 1976 version, which used to be distributed by Warner but is now back in Paramount's hands).

Nope it's the Ultimate Edition. Best guess, Amazon is just price matching Best Buy.
