I bought it and it arrived today. It has a spot in the packaging for the 8th film.
Already sold the digital copies for $10 so only cost me less than $20.

Finally got mine yesterday (13 days from order to delivery). Decent transfer. I was moderately disappointed at the lack of extras; I don't have many Cohen titles but the few I have usually has a documentary.

Amazingly, the sale is still on. Definitely worth the $10.

How about Agent Carter Season 2 for £14.99 ? Never released in the USA. As always hit the Ctrl key with the link to go to UK site.

Actually it was released in the US, but it was exclusive to Amazon and is OOP.

I've always wondered what passes for brains in the executive suites of media companies. They overprice their product and when it doesn't sell the conclusion isn't that the price is too high, but that nobody wants the product. I saw a similar thing happen with The New Outer Limits. Rather than release a season 1 set they released "best of" sets with semi-randomly selected episodes in each. It naturally did not sell, so rather than reevaluate the "best of" strategy (which I'd never seen before, probably for good reason) they never again released anything for the show.

I stand corrected. For some reason I thought that Season 1 was a general release and Season 2 was Amazon exclusive. In either case, neither is currently in print in the States.

Remember the Marvel productions are all Disney. Disney's executives have real apathy towards all television product on home video. Frankly, anything outside their top animated properties barely get serviced.

Since you're a good judge of these things...do you think Disney would ever play ball with a third party seeking to licensing these series for US release? I guess it hasn't happened so far, which suggests not?

There is zero chance Disney licenses anything. They zealously hoard their IP.

Looks like an all time low per CamelX3 at $34.99:

Breaking Bad: The Complete Series (Blu-ray + UltraViolet)

I still have not picked up the last 1/2 season of BB. A year ago I would have been all over this, but I just don't see that I'm ever going to have the time to re-watch with the way my life has been lately. I just got the Phantasm and Donnie Darko sets, ordered months ago, and I thought, "now when will I have the time to watch these?"

Yeah, if you're thinking of something like Mill Creek, there's no chance. Disney Movie Rewards maybe.

Do you remember if the Thor was a "fulfilled by Amazon" or a "Sold By Amazon"? If it's a fulfilled, it could be part of the seller account hacking issue. (I think this was the thread where that was explained). I'm 99% sure the reason I got a $130 cd box set earlier in the month for under $22 was a hack on a "fulfilled by Amazon" 3rd party account; & that Amazon is honoring orders placed before the hacks are caught.

"Sold by Amazon" seems pretty clear.

Bummer on the hack, though.

I got in an order for both CA and Thor for the $6.50 price. Both were OOS, but hopefully they'll eventually ship. I took the opportunity to choose the 'No Rush' delivery option, which for me is currently the $5 Prime Pantry credit, in the hopes of getting back to the digital credit offer for 'no rush' shipping in the future.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I ordered both titles on Sunday and chose the no rush option..and for $1 digital credit x 2 with separate orders. :D

Weren't supposed to arrive til next week, but they've both shipped already.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

Someone else had posted a link showing where you can find the amount and expiration dates of any digital/prime pantry credit you have. I had bookmarked it. It suddenly dawned on me that it's the type of helpful info that could be useful in the wiki-post area of this thread. So I included it. Not without a great deal of difficulty, however, as apparently that area is not link friendly.
