Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Max 3 GC on a single online order.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order
Return period is 14 days after delivery (possibly 30 days for members though I've never tried)
Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept
The long standing Free 60 day Trial Offer was discontinued in late May 2016

Studios don't care what we think. That should be obvious by the types of editions we see and all the idiot issues along with those editions.
I don't think sending a message to the studios is at all pertinent here. However, doing a blind purchase on a series because it might be "kinda nice to have" is the kind of logic that might result in some (not necessarily you) ... living in a van, down by the river.

At least you would have the Twilight series to watch in the van in the tv/dvd combo set.

Nope, Twilight would have been sold off to buy gas to feed the generator.

Indeed. Only you know the extent of things and then even you might not even realize the magnitude. For example, I was invited over a friend's house for movie night. He told us happily that he had a blu-ray coming because he really loved a certain film, even though it was a triple-dip for him. Problem was that another friend browsing his LD collection found the title unopened. Then I went to his DVD section and found the title unopened.

He got purchased-shamed.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I'm currently having to move soon (foreclosure, & Ironically I have an online cd/dvd business as my main source of income!)

The size of my personal music/movie collection is making it really difficult to find a mobile home (the direction I've decided to go) large enough! Sadly, I'm not kidding...................

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

Here's a pretty good deal (looks like it's a DOTD since a countdown clock is on it for another 4 hours, 20 minutes).

Clint Eastwood 20 Film Collection - $46.49

Edit to add: It's part of this sale and ends at 11:59 PST. A couple of other deals as well.

Very sorry to hear about this. Have you thought about a temp storage facility?

Well I have to admit for the first time in about a few years I have a tad of buyer remorse.

It is 1 possibility. I really want to sell my online business. That would take care of about 7k dvd's & cd's.

This is like discovering the guys you meet every night at the bar have a drinking problem.

Steven Spielberg Director's Collection - $49.99

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LFHYX2I

One day only, part of a "Collections Under $50" sale. Other sets are in the promo box under the price, mostly stuff that has been on sale before.

I paid more more than that just for 1941, Always, Duel, and The Sugarland Express since I had the other four and didn't want repeats in my collection. Oh well. I could have given the repeats to friends.

The big deal with this release is that Arrow Video is also planning to release Pit Stop, so we'll have duelling releases.

Thanks! I've had it since 1998; there was a time it made good money. That was before the corporations killed off us little guys, & before most of my customers died of old age...................

The future of media sales on the Internet is pure genre stuff like horror or niches like anime. Everything else in the mainstream is moving towards streaming or disposable retail copies found in a few displays.

Interestingly, my dvd/blu sales have dropped by a much largest % then my music cd sales (which are also god awful).

I order pretty often both CDs and BDs from the Internet, though these days I am running out of things I truly need. I've probably spent more money on anime Blu-rays than all other genres combined in the past year or two.
