I've been wanting to get a few UK-only releases, like Last Emperor 4K, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas 4K, Superman II 4K, etc.

The best place I've been able to find is rarewaves.com (a little bit cheaper on their website than through their eBay or Amazon storefront, especially if you change the currency to pay in GBP). It's even cheaper if you can buy multiple titles (for reduced shipping) and catch their occasional sale codes.

I've checked a few other places, like Diabolik, MovieMars, Zavvi, ImportCDs, but they either don't have enough selection or are more expensive. Does anyone have any other ideas for UK importing?
When did Amazon UK stop shipping movies to the USA? Do they still ship CD's, SACD's & audio DVD'a's?

That is because the previous USA administration stated they would pull out of the World Wide postal consortium unless ALL other countries started charging the same amount to ship to the USA that we charge to ship to that country. I.E. the UK used to have much lower postal rates to ship to the USA then the USA did to ship to the UK.

Mr DeJoy & friends really want to privatize & purchase the USPS. That would be a disaster.

FYI: Though the prices have gone up ("free shipping" is the cause), Eureka/MOC still ships to the USA.

Re: International Blu-ray deals

I just remembered this: a couple weeks ago I did a preorder with Amazon.UK on the Bowie ZSTMP 50th anniversary cd/blu-ray set & they are indicating it will ship to me in the USA.

Yeah, I checked a little and it seems that for whatever reason, most preorders can still be shipped and sold by Amazon to the US (with much higher shipping than, say, 3 years ago). But most already released titles are no longer sold and shipped to US addresses by Amazon for all entertainment media.

Yes, shipping was almost 10 UK pounds. Oddly, it's a USA release (per Amazon UK) & Amazon UK is selling it for more than 1/2 lower than Amazon USA even with the shipping.

Second Sight Dawn of the Dead blu-ray on the Amazon US page - so obviously free shipping is still an option on some things.

Amazon Global Store really marks stuff up over the UK pricing.

Re: International Blu-ray deals

Also germane to this thread, it appears that Amazon.co.uk is once again selling and shipping media to the US, though prices and shipping are high.
