Hopefully not only will speed return in 2021, but Biden has the option to remove Trump's requirement for what other countries charge to ship to the USA. Hopefully he will have room in his heart to do so.

Re: International Blu-ray deals

My stuff from OxfordshireEngland showed up today, of course!
I'll order from them again in the new year. Like I said, I know the delays weren't their fault. I just wish tracking was more standardized. This one did not have a typical customs ID number on it.
Thanks again for the solid advice. Easily saved a few bucks this way.

Re: International Blu-ray deals

I would guess with the KINO versions of the Mae West films already released there would be limited interest in this except for those who love extras. Indicator is releasing a 10 film "Mae West In Hollywood" set on December 13th. These are the 9 films Kino released plus "The Heat Is On" from Columbia. Price is 50 pounds to the US plus 16 pounds shipping, There is currently a 10% off code "BUNDLE" which brings the cost down to 45 pounds. At current exchange rate the price with the discount and shipping is about $85 for the 10 films.
This is Region B locked. You need a region free player to play in the US.

Price on website says 60 pounds but when you put it in cart and state shipping to the US it changes to 50 pounds before coupon.

Re: International Blu-ray deals

The price change in the cart is due to VAT being removed from the list price for a US shipping address. Also keep watching out on your US Amazon account - select Indicator volumes like these are offered on the US site, fulfilled from the Amazon global store with free shipping. Example is Indicator's Columbia Noir Volume 3. Currently $58.xx with free shipping. Not everything is offered this way but good to watch out for

Re: International Blu-ray deals

Thanks for the heads up about Amazon Global from Amazon.com. I spot checked some of the Indicator limited edition box sets and found all 3 released Film Noir sets (Volume 4 is preorder and not available ), John Ford At Columbia, and Marlene Dietrich & Josef von Sternberg at Paramount were available with free shipping. The single disk, "Twentieth Century" with John Barrymore and Carole Lombard was not available.

Re: International Blu-ray deals

yes, but having gotten these LE from Amazon vs Indicator directly - there is NO comparison on how these are packaged. Amazon throws the set in an envelope. Indicator lovingly bubble wraps (with scotch tape) the set, surrounds this with additional bubble wrap, and puts it in a nice sturdy box. I would never order an indicator from Amazon again.

Re: International Blu-ray deals

Yes, Indicator does a lovely job packing and shipping, but the shipping often cost me about $20 USD in the past when ordering from Indicator since I am in the US. I ordered the Columbia Film Noir sets 1 and 2 directly from Amazon, and while they weren't individually boxed and/or wrapped, they were shipped together in 1 box which arrived in a couple of days and presumably didn't travel as far.

Re: International Blu-ray deals

Indicator/Powerhouse is having a sale including the first 2 Film Noir sets for 25 pounds each after removal of VAT. Shipping, of course, is very high to the US. Free International shipping for orders over 200 pounds.

Update: the 2 Film Noir sets are now sold out.

2nd update Now the 2 Film Noir sets are available as preorders. Note on site says they don't know when they will be available but are hopeful they will be available in November. Any order containing these preorders and other items that are in stock won't ship until preorders are available. They charge you when you order and not when items ship. The 2 Film Noir sets will remain at the sale price throughout the sale.
