My orders for Austin Powers on the 21st were canceled but they had NEW copies available today for other customers? What the hell, B&N.

Canceled my Batman, That's Entertainment and TMNT orders

Odd. I went to refresh the cart to see if TE came back into stock and it had logged me out, like it timed out. OK, log back in and the cart shows everything in stock; click the Place Order button and it went through. Whether I get the stuff remains to be seen. Ended up paying $3.99 shipping. Still a good deal for six BDs.

They pulled this same shite with randomly canceling orders all month during the Criterion 50% off sale. There is no reasonable basis for their cancellations, and they should be held to task for this.

I guess the only good thing about this is that it frees up some more money to give to Amazon.

On the phone with BN now, yeah I really want to be doing this instead of watching Monday Night Football!

Just got my austin powers set cancelled too.... Why the hell did they put it back up as in stock if they didn't have enough?

Cancelled my AP set too. Re-ordered along with Life BD.

I've NEVER had an order cancelled at Amazon, and I have placed 100's. I have placed 2 on BN and one part of both orders has been cancelled!

They cancelled my TMNT order. No excuse for them to cancel something they are still selling as in-stock. I will go and buy the item for full price at Amazon now instead of giving BN any more money.

When I ordered the AP set yesterday, I had the Batman set in the same order. I used a coupon, but only the Batman set was affected by the discount. I thought it was odd, but the deal was still to good to complain about so I just placed the order.

I just checked the order status, and they haven't canceled Batman yet. Not that they can't do it at anytime. Just thought it was odd. Both Batman and TE are still showing up as open orders.

Like I said earlier, Life is the only order i honestly care about. It's gonna hurt getting that one canceled, but I have a feeling it's unavoidable now.

I went ahead and re-ordered it but since I already used the coupon code, I couldn't get it for the original price but I figured it wasn't worth going on the phone over $1.62.

Has anyone gotten a cancellation after they got a shipping notice?

If they don't have 'em, don't list 'em. If an order gets through, they should damn well fill it. I don't care if I have to wait.

I called and the customer service representative said that she would adjust the price and sell it to me for the price I originally was booked for. I suggest trying the same. I cannot guarantee this will work but she was really nice. It took about 20 minutes.

Well the CSR just told me that they have an order of 1000 but they don't know when they are going to get them.

I could not cancel the rest of my order it is already to far along, but I could drive 25 miles out of my way and drop it off at a Brick and Mortar store or I can refuse the package when it gets here; but alas I will be at work that day.

They also said they would email me when the get more of the Austin Powers Collection in stock.

MY CSR said that they won't be able to fill the orders for months and months which is why they cancelled all my orders!!!!! When I asked her why some of these items were still on sale on the website she said that was for items that are available in the actual stores??????

Smells funny to me. I don't have time tonight to play phone tag with them so I sent an email. If you ordered it at the $58 I'm sure they would make sure you get it in a few days.

Oh great I just discovered I lost my gift card I used on my Austin Powers order. Guess I need to call customer service to try and get it back.

i called it says to call later i tryed 9 times and there selling austin powers for 10$ now in stock if they tell u its for in store go to the store adn get it for 10$ seems like one big scam to me
