I'll only call if/when Life gets canceled.

Just got off the phone with a CSR about my canceled TMNT, here's what they said, it sounded like he was reading it off a piece of paper:

The offer was for a limited time and was based on a first come first serve basis. We sold through that amount and the price has been raised since. We cannot sell you that item for the original price currently due to the limited nature of the sale.

What a load of BS. I should've argued but what a bunch of crooks, I don't want to deal with them. This is definitely a scam.

After a quick jump on before heading to bed, I saw this and checked on my orders. Ocean's Trilogy is still good (for now) and That's Entertainment had been cancelled. I took a quick look at B&N and saw That's Entertainment on their site, available at the same price that I purchased it yesterday. I didn't even bother with the coupon this time - price is too low to mess with right now, and for what, a dollar or so. Tossed it in the cart and checked out again. Two can play at this game.

So are these in store for those prices or not?

well ill never buy from this store again i hope they go out of business

What the fuck do you expect? Hundreds of people are calling about orders that were canceled, I'm sure. Do you really expect them to have that many Customer Service Representatives on hand?

I called customer service about my missing gift card money. Was told it takes up to 24 hours for the money to go back into the gift card. It better or they can expect an angry call from me again tomorrow.

Also I went ahead and placed a new order for Austin Powers since I didn't believe the BS I was getting. Since they canceled it I decided to add Life, Oceans Eleven, and That's Entertainment boxes to my new order even though I don't want them. I may give them away as presents if they ship.

Funny, but according to my new order, Austin Powers is scheduled to ship on Wednesday... the same day as my canceled order.

i just got a thats enternameant shipping notice after i got one it was canceled the one i wanted least gets shiped go figure

Yep, I got it too (for Austin Powers). But now the expected ship date says it won't ship until December 13 (where before it was November 24) but I can no longer cancel the order. Not complaining especially if it does ship...

I honestly don't know why people are reordering, they clearly know they aren't going to fill them.

I want everyone who bitches about coupon abuse during the Criterion sale to remember this next June, and about how people are abusing and defrauding this 'wonderful' company.

this is the first and last time i will ever order from this site even if ever movie was dollar wonderful company? if you sell items you should fill them thast a great company walmart best buy (future shop in canada) dont sell you items and say days later sorry we change are mind you wotn get them with computers they can tell what they got in stock adn to stop when there stock is sold even small companys do that not sell then say well we charge are mind we dotn wana please people who work hard and spend time to get these deals

I ordered Batman and Austin Powers at around 9am yesterday morning. Got a shipping date of 12-13-10, so far as of 10PM tonight not cancel notice. Here's hoping.

I reordered AP and Life. I'm not crossing my fingers though. If I didn't get such amazing deals on Criterion, I'd probably be really pissed.

Eh, I'm not even concerned really that I'm not getting them. Saying I won't shop at B&N again is asinine, i'm glad so many won't be shopping next time there are great deals, leaves more for this guy!

well i live in canada so i wont be shopping there i just seen those few deals taht wernt deals more of a pain in the butt then any thing so no need to shop there

I'm actually shocked that my Gone with the Wind is shipping tommorow morning. My Austin Powers/Oceans sets have not been cancelled but I'm sure that will come within a few hours.

Hmmmm...I got shipping notices for both "Austin Powers" and "That's Entertainment" for Dec. 13th.

We'll see.

I really don't care when I get them, but I think they should at least honor their prices or mistake and make it right.

We'll see. If they don't, no harm no foul. And not sure how this is a mistake (thus no defrauding or abusing here) since they've had ample time to A) correct it to the right price or B) remove it completely from the site.

So in turn, I honestly don't know why some people have to get prissy about these things.

And what exactly do you expect calling them to accomplish?

My expected date for austin powers is 11/24. Lets hope it ships but lets be honest, people should not bitch if it doesnt ship, they could be price mistakes, that's the chance we took. If it ships then awesome if not then meh.
