Ha, I'm less a fan of Facebook than Universal.

I guess you missed a few messages. I was rejected at two different BBs because of the "any regular priced" section on the coupon. There are messages from others who had the same experience. It's definitely YMMV.

I tried to use the coupon at the BB in Westminster, CO. Coupon was not allowed to be used on sale price blu's. The coupon rang up as a $0 amount, which caused a supervisor to be called. 5 minutes to read the fine print, and I was not allowed to use the coupon. No harm but time wasted.

Tried to use it on THE THING today at Best Buy in Richmond VA. Didn't work. Showed as 0.00 on the screen, manager came over and said 'not for use on sale items'. Oh well.

I couldn't even print the coupon out to try and get it rejected.

I couldn't get it to work yesterday either. It just kept processing for close to an hour.

BTW, is this an exclusive BB coupon or can it be used at an B&M?

It can be used at any store that will take Mfg coupons. Its not BB specific.

So it seems that BB is very picky on this coupon, not even going to try there.

Does Walmart have any good deals?

Same here, no problems or hesitation at two different best buys in my area. THey just made sure it was a universal title was all it seemed and knocked off $5.

Though I didn't expect to find much, I stopped by my local BB to browse for any decent titles to use the coupon on. Of course, the only ones that were affordable after the discount were on sale. Target was about the same way. Only sale titles fell into my price range.

Lots of us have had success using it on a sale price, just take it to the register and try it. The worst that happens is they don't allow you to use it, so you take the coupon back and use it on something else.

Those were my thoughts, too. Just gotta give it a whirl and hope for an unobservant/lenient cashier.

Re: Universal facebook five dollar coupon any BD

tried to get walmart to price match their website for Serenity, DENIED!

printed out the website and brought it to BB. 1st BB I went to did the price match but refused to accept the coupon saying it was one or the other (can't price match and then use a coupon), the cashier said it was corporate policy, tried to reason with them but they said I can take it up with corporate if I wanted to.

2nd BB did not have the movie.

BOOOO!!!

I had 2 coupons, I printed one from my facebook account and my wife one from hers. Went to get Dawn of the Dead and The Thing. Dawn has a 12,99 sticker on it, The Thing has a sticker for 24.99. Both ring up for 9.99. I give my 2 coupons to the cashier and he reads them first then scans them. They come up as 0.00 and he asks the manager what to do. The manager tells him to take it off manually after looking at the coupons.

Nice, Dawn and The Thing for 11.38 with tax.

I had no problem using it at BB. The cashier didn't even bother to scan it. She said "these things never scan" and just manually changed the price. She really read the coupon for a long time though, yet apparently didn't see the part about "regular price." WHEW!

Target has all three "Bourne" films (which if I'm not mistaken are Blu/DVD combo packs) on sale for 17.99 this week, coupons would drop it to 12.99, if anyone's interested.

This Universal coupon is nothing but a scam, I haven't been able to print this coupon out with any printer.

I get that it's frustrating not to get a coupon to print, but "nothing but a scam?" Really? The worst that's happened to you is, you took a few moments to click "become a fan" and vote for a movie to be released on Blu-ray. If you're that upset about it, go back and click "remove me from fans."

Incidentally, there's an FAQ for printing problems here.

I just wonder how many of these people are trying to print outside of IE. As much as I hate IE I always use it for printing coupons since 90% of the time that's the only program they will print with.

I use Google Chrome. I had some printing problems when I first started printing coupons several months ago, but after re-installing the software a few times, I seem to have finally gotten it working just fine with this browser. I wish I understood better what I did to finally get consistent success with Chrome so I could be more help to others.

That's ridiculous.

Psycho

Now we really shouldn't be voting on any title that was previously released on HD DVD. Lost in Translation and The Big Lebowski should have already been released.

Why not? I don't have an HD DVD player, and I'd like both of those movies on Blu-ray.
