Bestbuy's current website sale the more you buy, the more you save on select tv shows has some good deals if you buy three items. If you buy two items off the list, it's 15% off, if you buy three items, it's 25% off.

Note for the Buy More Get More deal, if you're ordering more than three of the listed titles, you'll need to place separate orders in groups of three to get 25% off everything. I had six of the listed titles on an order and the discount was only showing up on the three highest-priced titles.

Four of the titles I ordered are preorders, which are currently overpriced (IMO). I ordered them in hope of Best Buy lowering the price as we get closer to release week. For instance, Sons of Anarchy season 6 is currently $44.99. I'm hopeful it lowers to about $29.99 before it releases. That means I'll get it for $22.49 factoring in the 25% off discount. There's some risk, but these are popular titles, and I'm sure they'll come down in price before they ship.

There is a deal on the FoxConnect site where you get a 30% off code which takes SoA Season 6 to around $25. You just have to go to their site and look in the upper right hand corner for the "Join the Club" sign. Click on it and enter your email address to receive a 30% code. The code is good on most of the pre-orders.

But to add to the Best Buy buy more deal, they currently have The Walking Dead Season 4 Best Buy exclusive listed @ $29.99. Add 2 more titles and it goes down to $22.49 plus you get a CinemaNow digital download of Season 4 added to your cart for free.

I hope nobody buys this, so the studio realizes what a stupid idea that was. Why release the first episode by itself? I for one will just keep in on my DVR if I really liked it, and can wait for S8 to be released in its entirety.

It's intended to promote the upcoming broadcast season as much as anything else. The existence of a Blu-ray/DVD hits some social circles that other advertising venues won't touch, signaling a new season.

darkdaze73, thanks for the heads-up on that promo. Had pre-ordered Walking Dead S4 LE a month or so ago. Basically got Strike Back S1 & S2 for an extra $9.

Seconded. I just bought Copper Season 2 for $19.99 last week. I'm going to return it and get it for $14.99 with this promo. FWIW, I'll get Walking Dead 4 for $22.49 and Orphna Black 2 for $17.49 to complete my trifecta.

I have the Walking Dead Season 4 and Supernatural Season 8 in my cart. I am debating on whether to use Toy Story of Terror! as my third title. It's pretty pricey to be a 30 minute or so title, but picking it up via the Disney Movie Club would only be a couple $$ cheaper. Plus the savings I would gain on The Walking Dead could better justify it.

Also of note, next week Best Buy will have a promo where you can purchase The Amazing Spider-man 2 at a reduced amount(2d BD $9.99, 3D BD $14.99) with the purchase of any tv title 14.99 and up. I am going to hold off placing any order until I see whether these to promotions stack.

Buy an anime title. There are a few in there which are pretty good. Toy Story will probably be $4.99 around Black Friday.

Just a warning about the new Best Buy Expendables 3 Fandango cash promotion. I purchased Escape Plan for $16.99, which is one of the qualified titles. Low and behold, the Fandango sticker with the code was actually stuck on the actual BD case, not the wrapping. Ughhh, Luckily I have some replacement BD cases and was able to swap it out. I don't know if this is a one time thing or not, but be leery about this.

Your credit card/debit card will be charged not only the total price after the promo (the "final price)...BUT THE FUCKING PRICE OF PART OF THE PROMO AS WELL. Says pending but this totally through me off as I was wondering where I spent another $60.

Best Buy should have called this Buy More Get Your Card Charged More!

Your wording was confusing as heck to me too, but it makes sense to me that if a pre-order was part of the promotion and total order that you might get charged upfront for it. While I can see the customer complaint part of it too given that some stores policy is to not charge until your order ships, it's not like you're actually getting charged more.

Or i'm still missing something and misunderstanding.

When you originally place an order, you will get a pending charge for the full amount. That will drop off after a couple days if it is a pre-order and hasn't actually shipped. Then you will be charged per item as they each ship (or a combined charge if more than one item is shipped together). If the pre-order is placed far in advanced, you will see that pending charge show up again in a few weeks only to drop off again after a couple days.

You're not charged for anything until it actually ships. All you're seeing are pending charges.

But why put a pending charge on my card at all when you already charged me $58.72 for THE ENTIRE ORDER. I could understand if it was a partial charge, but this is not.

That is odd. I will give Best Buy this -- their 1-800 # for online orders is about the best customer service of any e-tailer. I'd call them and see what's up.

I have 3 tv titles in my cart along with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 3D and sure enough the promotions are stacking. Also of note, there is a $5 coupon for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on packages of Mama Mary's pizza crust. I know I have seen these at Wal-Mart in the past, but I am not sure who else carry's these.

I am still tempted to try and pick up TASM 2 3D and Toy Story of Terror to see if the discount comes off in store. If so, then maybe I can try and get them to take the Kellogg's $5 Disney BD coupon along with the $5 TASM coupon making the total for both $20 before tax. With this being Best Buy, I know it won't go that smoothly.
