I've thought that Best Buy has stocked their media section pretty well the past two quarters. This is likely the great August removal, where older stock gets shipped off to be replaced with newer releases. Why else did you think Best Buy had all these sales going on at the moment.

I wasn't able to get my pre-order for TWD Season 4 Limited because it was no longer available. But I was able to get the the regular Blu Ray set brought down to $22 n change. Besides, I've already got way too many display items in my living room. Coupled with the $10 off promo code I got Arrow for $14.99, Buffy(Complete DVD Collection) for $52 and The Winter Soldier 3D Steelbook for $19.

Not too bad! I almost picked up the Buffy set at my local FYE when it was $69 but I am glad I held off. Thanks for the SD tip! I appreciate it.

You will get the lower release price AND the 15/25% discount on top of that lower price, I'm told. I chatted with a rep about this and saved the transcript of our conversation (just in case).

However, it's up to you to contact them and go over the pricing difference. It's not automatic like Amazon. I'm about to have to do this for an order I placed last week for Generation Kill (already received) and Walking Dead s4 and Sons of Anarchy s6 (just shipped). Looking at my online order, Walking Dead changed price to $29.99 without the 25% discount, and Sons has stayed at it's original order price with the 25% discount. So this is going to be a headache to get resolved.

I wish I had simply placed an identical order earlier this week at the lower release prices and just returned those with my original receipt.

I've got a second order with a couple more preorder items that have already lowered in price, so it looks like I'll be doing this yet again in a couple of weeks. It's going to be a hassle, but I feel like I'm getting the kind of prices I'd normally have to wait and get two months after release.

I picked up a title yesterday and just redeemed the code. I had never used Fandango Cash before, but it's just Hollywood Movie money. Once you input the code it redirects you to the usual site you input the information in. I'm glad for that because I had assumed you would have had to use the code on Fandango itself which of course charges a convenience fee.

Despite ordering the non-Best Buy exclusive of SoA(sku 8074447), I still received the exclusive with the digital comics code(25589175). Not sure if it was like this for all of the sets in store as I did not look around while in there, but that is what I received when I went to pick up my online order.

I picked up the last two earlier this evening at the Best Buy down the street. Total on my receipt: $50.07. Last week I was prepared to spend $40 on each when they were listed for that much on Amazon.

Breaking Bad The Complete Series is part of the DOTD today for $99.99 (have to add to cart to see correct price). If you can find two additional TV series to add with it, you can bring the price down to $74.99.

Person of Interest S3 that i put in a preorder for 19.99 has been placed on backorder according to an email i got last night. How do they run out of copies of something that just came out this week considering I had it ordered for months? I am hoping they dont somehow cancel the order saying the price was a mistake. Anyone else have their orders placed on backorder with a hopeful end of the month delivery?

Why was it up for preorder so cheap? That had to be a price error and now they're refusing to give it to you. I saw it's on "sale" for $42.99 and when I went yesterday they didn't have any left. It looks like they only got 2-3 copies at most.

I love the show and already saw the entire season, so there is no need for me to buy it now. I'll wait until November when it drops to $25 or less.

This year I'm trying to be a little more pickier for my TV on DVD or BD purchases and not buy everything that I'm a fan of.
