Are they canceling orders? I had one in my cart and kept trying to hit PLACE ORDER but it never went through.

Anecdotally I joined the line as soon as Wario posted in BB and I'm still waiting (about to give up though). I wonder if it's regional or something because lots of people have posted that they got through, some instantly.

Seriously, when do I bail on WalMart and Best Buy? I feel like they're just wasting my time.

I was driving back from a show, so I only tried Target and made it to the Place Order screen which gave me errors. After some time, they removed it from my cart. I didn't really want one, but I could have given it to my older daughter for her birthday in June. This system will only been fun if we all get one and do online Mario Kart together to justify the cost.

What a shit show. I logged in on three devices. Made sure my iPad and iPhone were up to date. Logged in and made sure all my information and payment info was there. I use my Target app and account all the time and when it went live they made me manually input my address....even though it was already listed on the same page....Then it said the address was wrong but let me continue. It FINALLY let me check out 20 minutes later. Still in line at Walmart and BB.

I almost had a heart attack though because I preorderd the Zelda amiibos (for a friend, I'm still debating on paying $30 each for those things ). The order went through but then they cancelled them immediately. When I saw the email I thought they cancelled the console.

I like the $25 discount at Target but wish we could order it for store pickup so I can get it release day. I do like Walmart's 0900 delivery.

Anyone else picking anything else up? I'm debating a pro controller but I think I'll just wait for a sale down the road or maybe a limited edition. Same with extra joycon. At least a different color. At these prices it's really hard to justify a spontaneous purchase. That is one thing I'm really happy about. That we get to use all our old stuff. Definitely helps out a lot especially since the only thing to play will be MK so I don't have to buy a bunch of $90 controllers.

God no on the Pro controller. I don't need a C button that bad. Doubt I would ever use it.

I ordered 1 pro controller and a set of Joy-Con wheels. I’ll probably pick up a pro controller for my wife as well at some point, but I figured I’ve spent enough money for now.

As far as games go, I did get the physical edition of Mario Kart World. I will surely be preordering Donkey Kong Bananza but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. No rush since it’s not like I could play it alongside the Switch 2 launch anyway.

The Switch 2 Joy-Cons have a C button too. I went for a pro because I didn’t love the way Joy-Cons felt in the grip, and I’m assuming it’ll be the same story for Switch 2.

The Switch 1 Pro controller supposedly doesn't remote start the Switch 2. I guess you could use the Switch 2 joy cons to do that (?), but that feature of the Switch 2 Pro controller would be a selling point for me.

I really do like the pro controller and presumably the pro 2 controller (switch 2 pro controller?) but I wish Nintendo at least tried to add a little bit more. I was really hoping for analogue triggers or maybe even resistance triggers. After playing Astro Bot on the PS5 and seeing how much thought they really put into engineering the dual sense and the game actually utilizing all it's features and seeing what Nintendo put on offer with the Switch 2 made me realize how Nintendo isn't the leader in controller innovation anymore. Yeah the mouse feature is potentially really cool. Literally game changing but we'll have to see.

But damn...if the pro controller can't turn the Switch 2 on that will really suck.

What date does your preorder list? My Walmart order says June 5th. Target says estimated June 11th. I know it's way early to know either way but that kind of sucks. Returns are tied to the serial number of system itself right? So it's not like I could open up my Walmart order and return it later with my Target order?

that's exactly what happened to me. I was literally in line for approx. 50 minutes. It said I was in line, and they'll get back to me when it's your turn, 50 min later. but, sure enough after 50 min my pc page literally was convulsing and finally, I got that big beautiful blue preorder button and I still thought I wasn't going to get it bc of the time, but sure enough.

I actually bought the Pro controller and DK Bonanza first at Walmart and quickly checked out before any problems. but I had no idea there still would be some left near 1am but thank goodness I don't have to worry anymore, and my OCD has subsided. Target and Best Buy were a bust, big time.

my order receipt said I would get it by June 5. so, not waiting too long isn't so bad.
