Not getting a launch console (a first for me with Nintendo). Waiting for a larger/better game lineup. Just nothing really appealing to me at this point. Possibly a different bundle down the road.

Yep! I'll be at work so hopefully I can carve a couple minutes at midnight to get one. I hate that they're doing a midnight EST release. There's too many people still awake in PST Plus every retailer at one time? That sucks.

Thoughts on best places to preorder? Ideally I'm shooting for Target for the 5% redcard discount. That's about as good as it gets. Or Walmart would be nice because they said they'd get them to you by 0900 on release day.

I'm guessing that retailers aren't doing a midnight release with stock available? Only thing I heard was Best Buy was planning a midnight release but that was for preorder pickups and that was before this whole mess of delaying preorders.

I can never fall asleep before midnight, so it'll just be another weekday for me. Will try but won't be putting much effort into it. I don't care if I have one at launch or a few months later. Backlog is already too big.

I did it! I ordered from both Target and Walmart. I want the dust to settle, as I saw some people say that their Target orders seemed to go through but were immediately canceled. I'll keep one and cancel the other (or maybe ship it to a friend).
