I bought my card from Decker, so if it's fake, well, someone has some 'splainin to do. I mean he literally sold it to me in front of an off strip hotel. Hmmmm......

You always should run something like H2testw on a computer which basically takes the time to write over the entire drive and tests the partitions.

Oh yeah I’m very aware of their crummy comingling of products that occur in their warehouses. But at the time I wasn’t. I paid $30 for a 128 gb card if that tells you how long ago it was…..wait maybe it doesn’t now. :(

And I’ve heard for years they were going to stop that. But come on. If they really wanted to stop that practice they would have just done it years ago. It’s just way too profitable for them to charge their customers AND sellers. Seriously, how did they get on both sides of the retail transaction?

Commingling practices will end effective March 31, 2026

In March, we’ll end commingling practices across our supply chain and update eligibility criteria for using manufacturer barcodes.

Commingling is when we fulfill customer orders using exact product matches from the closest available inventory in the Amazon fulfillment network, even if that inventory belonged to a different seller, to achieve faster delivery speeds. Now that most sellers maintain inventory levels that keep products close to customers, we can achieve fast delivery without commingling.

The following requirements will go into effect for inventory shipped on or after March 31, 2026:
  • Brand owners with the Brand Representative selling role in Amazon Brand Registry will no longer need to apply Amazon barcode stickers to prevent commingling for products that already have manufacturer barcodes (such as UPC, ISBN). This means more flexibility in how you manage inventory because you will not need to pre-allocate units to Amazon or other channels. For more information, go to How to switch to manufacturer barcodes.
  • Resellers (not enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry as a Brand Representative selling role) will now be required to use Amazon barcode stickers for products even if they have a manufacturer barcode. If you are already using these stickers, you can continue to follow your existing process.
  • For products that do not have a manufacturer barcode, both brand owners and resellers will need to use Amazon Barcode stickers.

Amazon has already lost my trust as far as fake merchandise is concerned. I’ll never buy another easily faked item (memory card, battery, brand name clothing or accessories etc.). Too little way too late. And I don’t trust that there still won’t be ways to get fake product in their warehouses if there is no pedigree required for items and they’re still accepting items into their warehouse from outside sources. Having a certain sticker or not having a certain sticker is not very comforting when the entire packaging is faked.

Best Buy and Target have some exclusive Mario Bros 40th merch.

BB has a cool steelbook game case that’s “free” with the purchase of any two Mario games. Which really sucks because they’re all full price (except Mario RPG) and if you’re a real Mario fan enough to care about some stupid case wouldn’t you have all the Mario games you’re interested in already? I know I do. People are reporting you can buy them from BB for $20, either directly or buy buying two games then returning them immediately except for $20.

Target has an exclusive poster with the purchase of any Mario game, again at full price. But they also have a really cool case with the purchase of a $100 eshop card. I just picked one up tonight and it’s as cool as it is useless. Like a 3DS sized steelbook case with some really cool artwork on the inside and outside of the case. So if you’ll eventually spend $100 in the eshop it’s a pretty cool collectible. My store had maybe 20 in stock? If they weren’t hiding any in the back room. I just happened to be there and saw it before learning about it. It’s supposed to be in Sunday’s flyer (I didn’t know they still did weekly sales flyers).

I believe Target does weekly sales flyers but they only post them online (I think since like 2021 or so?)

Here's the PS5 review
Probably a better indication of the performance of game than the Switch 1 version (Switch 2 came out later and doesn't have online reviews). Rogue-lite beat-em up. Never got it. At that price (full game, not the DLC), it's gotta be worth grabbing.

Yup. Amiibos aren’t region locked.

But if they’re from the southern hemisphere you have to tap them under the controller or Switch console to activate.
