I can’t believe that Nintendo charges $40 for their Switch 2 case and it doesn’t even have a handle? How did that happen? Who thought it was a good idea to make a travel case for a $500 piece of electronics that you have to carry around like a book? Back it goes.

Yeah, especially with literally zero reason to have the Switch 1 in that set-up any more -- and directly covering the XSX vent.

Have that same case for my Switch 1 as well as the bigger one that held the dock, pro controller, cables etc. It was really nice for the one time I went on an actual vacation in Mexico as I was able to take my whole setup with me conveniently.

i plan on still using SW1 from time to time to play some of my games. and it doesn't cover up the vent. there is space in-between and i dust there every day.

Just curious : Why play on the Switch when every one of those games (presumably) will play better on the Switch 2?

honestly, I don't know. It is set up and what not. If I definitely don't play it in the future it will be gone. I don't need a paper weight right there.

They just want your money, that's why we have to start from scratch (getting accessories) with the new console, unfortunately.

I wouldn't say from scratch. The old controllers and games work with the Switch 2, that's rather significant.

Yeah, I was going to get it originally but it wasn't available. So I decided to get the official one and I bring it home and look at the reviews and hear Decker's take and I'm like son of a....

It's funny, the device itself is well designed and built, the software, virtual cards, sd express support are well done. The stuff around it though - drift vulnerable controllers, the packaging, the accessories, etc all seem half assed.

I wouldn't call anything about the Pro Controller 2 half-assed. It's phenomenal

True, the Pro is quite good.

It is good, but I don’t for the life of me understand why they ditched the fantastic grips of the Switch 1 pro controller and made this one with no texture whatsoever on them, just smooth as a babies bottom.
