That sucks Decker! Mine still shows tomorrow by 10 pm. I hope it shows up by 0900. This is my week on and I'll be sleeping all day and don't want a Switch 2 sitting at my front door all day. Why is it so difficult to ship out a game on time? With today's logistics how hard is it to ship them out so they arrive on release day?

I'm going to try and venture out after work and grab a bundle from Target. I don't have high hopes of being successful since I won't be able to get there until opening basically.

I'm sorry about that. I'm seeing a lot of similar reports on other forums. Did you get an updated date anywhere? I saw one person say they got a text about delivery on the 7th, and another person said the chat support guy said it'll be the 6th. I hope you won't be waiting long.

My dumb statuses:

• Walmart - Switch 2 and pro controller slated for tomorrow (and I'm paranoid about misdelivery and porch pirates, especially with the potential of a very early morning delivery); Mario Kart World and wheel accessories are 'preparing' for Friday but haven't shipped yet
• Best Buy - Pro controller and microSD Express card have shipped and should be here tomorrow
• Target - Switch 2 is 'preparing to ship'; estimated delivery by 6/11 (and I imagine it'll be here a couple days sooner than that, but still probably the last of the major retailers to fulfill anything)

Supposedly Walmart has gig drivers showing up at, like, 5:30 AM or 5:45 to load up and get these things out by 9 AM. Because I make bad decisions, I also preordered Welcome Tour, offsetting the price slightly with the last of my gold points.

Sorry all y'all are going through this. Kinda glad I opted out this go 'round.

1st world problems for sure. It's just annoying that in today's day and age of logistics we continually have to go through all of this. And I can't for the life of me understand why they can't just ship the damn things out so they arrive on launch day. Or if Nintendo really went the way of a day one required launch patch why not just send them out a little early and let people set them all up and at midnight turn them all loose.

My order is still in the preparing stage. i thought it would be here soon, but I guess not. **edit*** never mind. I got a notice that it's out for delivery. now, that's more like it. and i just got a text as i was writing this. All supposed to be here by 6:55am est. it actually gave me the minute it is supposed to arrive. in 20 minutes? i don't know about that.

Verizon has Switch 2s for sale (bundle; standalone), if you’re looking for an alternative. You have to be a Verizon subscriber, though.

My Switch 2 is 5 stops away, per the Walmart app, so should have it in-hand in about 20 minutes! Why am I watching this on a live map?

My Switch 2 order from Walmart just arrived. Inside the package was also a Walmart reusable bag, a can of pringles, and a Coke. Weird. The controller separate order from Walmart is still showing delivery by 10pm.

Oh crap. I'm sitting here at work and I just got notification mine was delivered at 0645. I hope it's still there when I get home. The guy didn't even try to hide it behind my box or even to the side. He was very gentle with it so that was nice. I like the pringles and the can of coke. Nice touch.

Still going to try to get one at Target though.

How do you download Mario Kart World? here was no code in my box even though it says to look at the side panel of box for instructions, but none said anything about the download. Thanks.

Out-of-the-box impressions are extremely positive. It looks and feels more lux than the OG Switch. I love how it feels to attach/detach the new Joy-Cons. There’s a dedicated Ethernet port on the dock, at long last! I knew the screen was bigger, but having it next to my Switch 1 for the system transfer, it’s still striking how much larger it is. Also, you can use the microSD cards from the Switch 1, at least for the system transfer process, but presumably never again thereafter!

My separate controller order arrived. No extra goodies in that bag.

My Nintendo order should arrive today, but I'm concerned UPS may not leave it at my door without a signature. I'm stuck in the office all day. I may have to wait till tomorrow to get it.

Ok, how do you transfer data from SW1 to SW2? It keeps asking me to plug in an ac adapter. i don't have extras lying around and where do i connect this ac adapter to? Thanks in advance. Still don't know how to get MKW.

What do you mean extras. The S2 came with a power cord and so did your S1. Did you throw one away? They want both machines to be plugged in during the transfer. Just like phones would.

I have both cables and both systems up and running, but this ac adapter i can't get past. iPhones to transfer you just hold it over the new phone's circle lines.
