they actually changed the gameplay too? That’s incredible. You could never do that in previous version. I can’t believe they also altered gameplay. That’s amazing. I think I’m gonna fall in love with this game again. I am so itchin’.

This looks so amazing. Nothing liked I remember and I thought I remembered one of my favorite games of all time. And it controls much better imo than the previous version on Xbox. But the whole beginning is nothing like I remembered at all. Amazing. It’s going to be an amazing remake based on this demo.

Anyone have any luck taking out the chainsaw Ganado? I think bc they drop you into that part of the game which I recon is towards beginning, you don’t have enough resources. And since when can your melee knife break? I lost that and ran out of bullets. It was tough. It’s probably better doable with more resources. Anyway, if someone finished can you post in spoilers how? Thx.

Anyone beat the demo?

I'm not watching a single video or playing the demo, just going into it blind to enjoy it as much as possible. I remember liking the original but it has been so long that it'll be like a new game all over again.

Same. Just pre-ordered the PS5 version. Loved it when i played back on GameCube there's no reason to play the demo if I already bought it and going in blind makes the anticipation higher

I actually had ms credit and used it to buy digital deluxe. I finished this at least 20x on GC. It was awesome and that was started by a demo that you got if you preordered GameCube version. It was a simply marvelous game. This new remake is going to blow socks off GC version. I backed off playing demo anymore for reasons above. I barely remembered that part. It’ll be glorious rediscovering my love for this game.

yeah, I realized mostly cosmetics, but I think you get a gun or two. That’s mostly why I got it, plus I had the credit and it’s my fav of all time, so go big was what I was always going to do with this one. Be neat to play with different skins anyway. It will be like a brand new game.

Have you played the RE2 and 3 Remakes? They regularly go on sale on PS5 and ate great games. 4 is using the same graphics engine too. I'm playing 3 right now and loving it.

Those two games are $9.99 each or $14.99 for a bundle of the two, in the PSN Store until 3/22. They have both PS4 and PS5 versions with purchase.

avoid. avoid. avoid. i stopped playing demo bc a) i got my assed kicked and b) bc i didn't want just a sampling. i want as fresh as possible. probably tainted now, but eh, who cares? though it did look and play so amazingly.
