Descenders (PS4) scored a 75 on Metacritic

Doesn't seem that bad to me. And for the first time in eons, I don't own any of those games already.
Would probably be the best month for Games with Gold on Xbox in several years if it were offered by them instead.

There's usually at least one game that might appeal to me, but none of those interest me at all really.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

So what's the deal with when I'm trying to play a PS4 disc on my PS5, and it says "99+ hours to copy", effectively, not copying the game?

Is your disc drive making a loud sound? It could be going out. Does it do that with other games?

No loud sounds - besides a couple blu-rays here and there (which played fine), literally the only game disc I've ever put inside it.

What game is it? I think there's a couple PS4 games that aren't compatible with the PS5

Gravity Rush 2
It's not on the incompatible list, and there is a download version available - the disc is recognized by the system, and it does copy a few gigs until is just really slows down and says it'll take 99+ hours to complete copying.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Seems like Gravity Rush 2 had some install problems even on PS4. You don't have a PAL version, do you?

https://www.reddit.com/r/PS4/comment...leted_by_user/
(this post was deleted but the context seems to indicate they had a problem loading the game, and they had to delete and reinstall a few times)
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards...ush-2/76083646
(using a PAL version of the game on a US system)

I guess the bigger question is, do other games load fine?

No, it's not pal, it's ntsc, and I did try No Man's Sky, and that copied over fine (though I deleted that, and opted for the free PS5 upgrade instead).
So maybe GR2 is just a bad disc, and it has trouble reading/copying it after getting to a certain point?

It's included with Playstation Plus Extra if you want to play it.

Nope, sorry, spoke too soon. I just found a PS5 copy of Chivalry 2 in my closet that I have never played and totally forgot I ever bought.
Most Decker thing ever.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

so on the PS5 home screen, on top are the games you recently played or downloaded and what not. i know you can keep certain games pinned to the home screen, but are you able to take away the others that are showing and are not currently being played or interested in right now without deleting the game?

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

The crappy thing is that when you move games off of your internal drive, they show up first on your home screen until you play enough different titles to cycle them off. It is rather silly.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

I still haven't gotten around to setting up and playing my VR2 yet, but I picked up Gran Turismo a couple weeks back, and this past weekend, picked up a bunch of games on sale, so I'll try to find some time to check them out.

The games that I picked up:
Thumper for $8 (reg $20), Fantavision 202X ($15, reg $30), Resident Evil Village ($20, reg $40), and Tetris Effect ($30, reg $40).

I have several more that I'm waiting on sales too, like that Kayak game.

Very nice. I missed the GT sale so will have to wait for another to come around. FYI, Switchback is FANTASTIC and highly recommended.

I think I got the ones I wanted. A lot. But certainly not all. No use in wasting storage on a game I’ll never play.

Go ahead and grab them. They'll stay in your digital library. You don't have to download them. They will not take up any storage if you just add them to your digital library.

When I turned on the PS5 today it gave me a notification to grab all the PS Plus Collection games. Even though I did ages ago, its nice that they sent out that message to everyone.

So, PS Plus is going away or just a bunch of games?
