Can you only buy premium on the PS website? All I see for sale elsewhere is PS Plus.

Playing 2018’s God of War on PS5 gives me the same excitement I had when I first played and basically got 360 for it, but Halo: Combat Evolved. See this thread for a scary refresher…I Love Halo…

I basically got PS5 for GoW’s and Ratchet and Clank. So, it’s pretty cool to be jazzed about opening another game avenue. And XBOX getting stale.

I do think I will play new games (like Evil West) I buy on it bc I do love the controller. I’ll have to play some more with DualSense. I’m sure I’m just used to same controller for years that it is hard to grip another. I do also like XBOX home screen much better.

But, I love looking forward to the sporadic times I can actually play again. GoW exceeds expectations thus far.

To each their own...but IMHO...no-one could go wrong playing both God of Wars. The first won Game of the Year and Ragnorak has 10 Nominations this year....;and both have enough to keep one busy for awhile.

Evil West....basically Doom meets Old West...has a good mix of decent reviews with most saying just insane crazy fun. But being new it's not going to get some good mark downs like a lot out there....

one note two...me personally I haven't gone "Hog Wild" on buying games, still have plenty to go back on, but...2023 in the first and second quarter is going to be loaded with a lot of titles that got pushed back and delayed...just saying

I've decided that after the holidays, that I'm expanding my SSD to 2TB. I'm just running on the SSD with no external hard drive and space is getting tight. I'll have a year left on my extended warranty in case I break anything. It looks pretty easy, but Murphy's Law tends to affect me more than most people.

I love how it looks. Cool contrasting colors. I mean I like color, obviously with purple controller. But, not everything has to be black.

Looks like heat city there. I'd be a little concerned by the stacking of so many components on top of each other and so close together.

It’s been that way for years. Never had a component ruined. The only ones that have a fan are the consoles. And, they are not obstructed at all. Plus, I dust and clean all the time.

I think I’m gonna stick to the black, unless I go bold and get the galactic purple, but then it would surely standout and might look odd. The black just matches all others. Who knows.

I'm shocked there was no PS Plus 12 Month deals out there at all....this morning I searched again and of all places that has the best deal...is Playstation Store....that has it at 25% off. I don't recall any Black Friday weekend going back to PS4 that didn't have some PS Plus 12 Month Deals. Use to see $35-$40 this time of year....not this year. So anyone need one, PS Store is it for now.

The same thing here in Canada too. I used to load up with the yearly subscriptions on Black Friday but only the PSN store has a sale on the subscription.

Well...I did see where over in UK they got a 35% off...but amazingly the markdown comes at almost the same price as USA...about $46....I think for now despite Sony losing around 1.4 million subscribers...the days of seeing $35-$40 Year PS Plus are gone.....

I paid $39.99 last year, and the best I could do this year was $44.99. Wouldn’t have minded a little less, but I’ll admit to still being happy with that.

It’s much bleaker on the Game Pass Ultimate side of things, in terms of sales/discounts. Seems like the only meaningful discounts involve key resellers (and sometimes VPNs!).

Yeah, having Game Pass I no longer feel the need to buy sale games that “look interesting.” I think the only games I’ve bought in the last couple years are ones that I’ve actually played, believe it or not.

I loaded up on the PSN $100 cards at Costco since they are selling it for $90. I’ll buy an extra year of PS+ and save it for game sales. I’m tempted to buy Spider-Man: MM

I’ll wait a bit for Ragnorak.

Anyone use those raised thumb sticks that you clip on to the DualSense controller left and right sticks? I’m wondering if they make aiming and shooting better, like most reviews suggest.

I thought the Ratchet and Clank games were free with PS Plus. I could only find the PS4 remake and can’t add to library, only buy. Don’t even see others, which I would have liked to play as well.
