For now I plan to hook it up to my 1080P projector till I have enough saved to get a nice 4K TV. I mainly excited for the fast loading times and improved PS4 Games especially Cyberpunk .
CONGRATS. For me, the PS5 made Cyberpunk fantastic. Enjoy~

^ not really. Digital Foundry has been doing excellent videos on it with each big update. They're worth watching.
It's better sure, but still has problems and will probably continue that way until the true PS5/XSX-optimized versions are out.

Oh, you can be sure the bugs/issues will persist beyond that. The game will never be fully stable.

I can only speak from my experience, but playing it twice through on a PS5 -- after the major patches that is -- I had hardly any issues and greatly enjoyed the game. I had random times where the subtitles would appear when I had them turned off, and I had 3-4 crashes where the game would shut down, but other than that it worked well for me.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Well I'll finally get joining the ranks after signing up for gamestop pro($15/yr instant $15 in points back) only took couple tries from their pro pre sale when new stock comes in to get one. First time I tried, annoyed didn't get or barely show in stock. 2nd time was annoyed didn't even try when I got the email and this was 3rd time and I got it no issues. Had it in cart long time before checking out. Be here friday. Only shitty thing they force bundle on ya for most the of options anyway. Headset, controller, yr of psn, $20 gift card and 5500 madden points. Still less than the assholes on ebay or marketplace want for one so feels like a win ...mostly.

I will say for sure happy I've compelted the trifecta. Got Series X launch day wal mart, last week got from evga 3080 FTW3 Ultra and yesterday or maybe day before ps5.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Returnal had the most for me, but a lot of that was resuming from rest so much (since it was the only way to really "save" your position during a run in that title -- which turned out to be less beneficial than one would assume).

Ratchet and Clank crashed on me about 2 or 3 times (oddly enough, always during Glitch's challenges), Demons Souls once. I guess I should note, I've only played 3 games on my PS5 and I've played them A LOT.

I've never had a game crash other than Cyberpunk; PS5 or PS4. Guess I'm lucky.

It took me three tries before I got a PS5 that was stable enough to play games on.

I really don't think so. I'm not getting crashes left and right or anything, but I've gotten more than a couple, spread across several games.

Target just straight up got rid of their PS5 product page - it used to at least say "out of stock", now it's an error page saying item doesn't exist.

I will never be able to get one at retail, will I?

Did you get in queue for the Sony direct happening right now? Or does it need to be for pickup?

I dunno which Twitter accts you're following for it but @mattswider is what got me mine (woo?)

And them getting rid of the page can be a good thing. It makes monitoring for restock harder for re-sellers and bots. Or Target just said fuck it.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Not sure if this is true or not, but given the release date and the fact that Sony has prominently featured this exclusive at a few events now, it's widely thought that FIST will be the PS Plus freebie for September. We may have to wait all the way to 9/1 to find out though.

Looks cool but probably the only way I'd play it is if it were free. I hope it is.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

A years-long worldwide pandemic/snapping will do that to production numbers...

Half of the microchip manufacturers in the MCU were also affected by the snap. So their chip shortage is even worse than ours.

Sure, but they also only have half the consumer base to supply for.

The PS5 was the Amazon Treasure Truck deal yesterday. It sold out in less than 5 minutes.
