Down to $40 at Walmart and Amazon.

So what is that now, a $60 price drop in a little over 2 months?

Well hell I guess I'll get one. Can always rip it apart and do one of those mods on it.

If you can't mod it for a much better controller with an analog stick, then it's not worth it anyway.

If it keeps dropping, which doesn’t seem improbable and makes it to like $20-$25 I might consider it. Even then I don’t want it that badly though.

Re: Playstation Classic -- With 20 preloaded games

Considered I had a preorder for this at full price which I promptly cancelled when the final game list was released, it's funny that I'm still passing on it at the $40 price point. Their choice of games was so far from acceptable, that I'm not even sure at what price it would be worth picking up, maybe $25?

Yeah me too My interest in this went from "yeah i'll buy one at $100" to not even wanting one at all.

Re: Playstation Classic -- With 20 preloaded games

I bought it at $100 and was pretty happy to finally legitimately own I.Q.

I should have waited but oh well.

I bit at $39.99 just for Intelligent Qube and Jumping Flash. It'll probably hit $19.99 in a month or two....but I'm ok with it.

Don't think that's all that new.. it's at least been a promo price off and on for a few months. Even so, there are still stores with lockboxes full of these things. I think it's pretty safe to wait for $25 within a few months if you've waited this long already.

Re: Playstation Classic -- With 20 preloaded games

I bought one at $40 when that price drop first happened, but the one I bought was defective. Returned it and didn't bother to get another one.

I'll buy one when it hits $20 now. Just for Intelligent Qube.

Yeah, I'm in at $25 or below.. just for controllers. Really sad that yours was defective. Kind of insult to injury after how bad they half-assed this thing in the first place.

Re: Playstation Classic -- With 20 preloaded games

I might get one at $19.99. Like someone already posted, stores are full of these things. You never see a spot that's empty in the glass case. I wonder if poor sales mean we won't get a PS2 Classic?

Target has a Coupon on their Cartwheel App that gives 30% off a PSOne Classic. Expires 5/4/19 (Today!)

The current price on their Cartwheel App is $39.99 for the Console. If you purchase it through the App, you can get an additional 30% off for In-Store Pickup.

Picked up one today for $30.XX.

They are back up to $59.96 at all of the Wal-Marts in my area.

Re: Playstation Classic -- With 20 preloaded games

It was 59.96 when I checked locally at Target as well. I'm pretty sure the only way you could get in on the deal is if you did in store pick up, not buy it in the store.

They still had tons of them.

Yup, which is why I mentioned that specifically in my previous post. The In-Store Pickup was fast and very easy (at least at my local store).

Price is still reflecting $39.99 via the Cartwheel App (for In-Store Pickup) but the Coupon is now expired.

Re: Playstation Classic -- With 20 preloaded games

Down to 29.99 now at most retailers. It was cheaper last week with cartwheel but this is without having to use any coupons. Still readily available at almost every Target I've been to.

Re: Playstation Classic -- With 20 preloaded games

Was definitely worth it at ~26 with Cartwheel. But no doubt it's going to $19.99 or lower.

Re: Playstation Classic -- With 20 preloaded games

It's now down to 25 dollars at Best Buy. If there is ever a PS2 Mini, I hope Sony has learned from this mistake.

Re: Playstation Classic -- With 20 preloaded games

$25 might get me to buy. But now I’m wondering if I should hold out for $20. I was never really a PS1 player, so these don’t have nostalgia for me like the NES and SNES classics did.

OK, Amazon matched it and I had $10 in gift cards. For $16 something I bit.
