Eh. I just finished that one last week. It was fine. Only one Screwball challenge gave me issues. Although, I didn't go for gold, only silver.
Also I unlocked the cartoon spidey suit and it's awesome. What's funny though is seeing it in cut scenes. It looked like I was watching Roger Rabbit or some other live action + animation movie. It was weird, funny, and kinda cool.

It's not a difficulty issue, her DLC challenges are dull and uninteresting and poorly designed, and the character herself is INCREDIBLY obnoxious -- her voice is like an icepick to the brain, and there's so. fucking. much. of it. PHOTOBOOOMB!!!! LOL HAAAAAASHTAG THROOOWDOWN!!!!!!
Honestly all the DLC challenges are an exercise in tedium, but the Screwball stuff feels like it was designed only for the sadomasochist set out there that revels in the sexual thrill of slamming their genitals into a car door.

I gave the game another shot, deciding to skip all the side stuff and just go for main game missions, and it got a lot better. I think the bases, the challenges, etc were dragging things down for me.
I had quit right before the Sinister 6 got together, and it got a lot better during that. Still not a fan of the puzzles or the Miles and MJ sneaky sections, though I liked the part you go through Osborne's penthouse - it's like a tour of the nicest penthouse in Manhattan.

Target has this for $20, which may be my price point. I'm a very casual gamer and not very interested in games that eat up a lot of time farming or collecting. Can one stick with the main story, by and large, and still succeed? Thanks, it looks like many of you have enjoyed it.

$20 is my price point too, for sure. Though knowing me, by the time I get around to playing it it’ll be a PS+ freebie The “Days of Play” sale is just a constant thing that runs through 6/17 right? As opposed to one of those things like what happens Black Friday weekend where deals quickly expire during the entire sale period?
I know responses to the DLC is mixed. I don’t care for trophy challenges at all but I like story DLC. Is it worth an extra $10 for just that?

Grabbed it at Best Buy for $15.99 (they had the same $19.99 price as Target, but my GCU is still active, so... $4 extra off!)
I will play this as soon as I finish Nier: Automata. So... maybe another year from now. (actually, maybe a lot sooner... my wife and kid really want to see Spider-Man in action.)

I finished the main story and loved it!
Grabbed the DLC soon after and I’ve been stuck in the subway chase ever since February 2019.
That was the last time I played it.

Re: Spider-Man (Insomniac Games) PS4 (9/7/18)
So the just announced PS5 game Spider-Man : Miles Morales is an expansion of the PS4 game and not a sequel. Kind of disappointing
https://www.gamespot.com/marvels-spider-man-miles-morales/ will reportedly be a substantial expansion to the original game, which is being enhanced for the https://www.gamespot.com/articles/ps5-everything-we-know-design-launch-games-playsta/1100-6466357/ with the new console's hardware in mind. In an interview with https://www.telegraph.co.uk/gaming/features/ps5-launch-plenty-promise-questions-still-hang-sonys-new-console/ (and
), Sony's EVP head of European Business, Simon Rutter likened it to an expansion that uses an upgraded version of the original.
“
There's a substantial Miles Morales component – which is the expansion element – but also within the game as well there's been major enhancements to the game and the game engine, obviously deploying some of the major PlayStation 5 technology and features," Rutter explained.
There's still a bit of confusion as to whether Rutter's statements indicate that Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a standalone expansion (akin to Infamous: First Light or Uncharted: The Lost Legacy) or whether it's simply additional content that will ship with a remaster of the nearly two-year-old Spider-Man for PS5. We have reached out to Sony for clarification and will update this story accordingly.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales kicked off a strong showing for the PS5, which includes out first look at not one, but two consoles, a sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, titled Horizon Forbidden West, and an impressive demo of Insomniac's other PS5 title, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. You can watch the full presentation again here, and catch up on every game shown off during its hour and a bit runtime.
PS5's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Is An Expansion, Not A Sequel
One of the highlights of the PS5 reveal event was for a supposed Spider-Man sequel, but that's not accurate according to Sony.
Sony introduced its new PS5 titles during its latest event with what looked like a sequel to Insomniac's Spider-Man, which launched in 2018. But in statements made after the stream, Sony has clarified that it's in fact an expansion to the original title.https://www.gamespot.com/marvels-spider-man-miles-morales/ will reportedly be a substantial expansion to the original game, which is being enhanced for the https://www.gamespot.com/articles/ps5-everything-we-know-design-launch-games-playsta/1100-6466357/ with the new console's hardware in mind. I think it's because they're kinda stuck having to use the same open world/map of NYC.
Tough to justify a full-fledged sequel when it's the same map as before.

It is a new game:
@jasonschreier: NEWS: Spider-Man Miles Morales is *not* an expansion or enhancement or remaster, despite a Sony executive's comments this morning, a source tells Bloomberg News. Nor is it Spider-Man 2. It is a brand-new, standalone game similar in scope to Uncharted Lost Legacy.

That is great news. I loved the first Spider-man game and look forward to playing as Miles Morales (... and not in stealth missions to get medications).
Note: The whole idea of it being an expansion and using the same map is what TLOZ: Breath of the Wild fans are scared of for that sequel: That is will use the same map with slight upgrades to the landscape and villages. I'm hoping for a subterranean experience or another map all together.

Looking at HowLongToBeat, they have Uncharted: Lost Legacy at about 7-16 hours depending on your OCD levels. So if Miles is in that ballpark then it definitely seems more like a mini spin-off and not a full fledged game.
Also since Miles had a part in Spider-man and is getting his own game, I wonder if they'll Spider-verse this franchise up and introduce Spider-Gwen so she can get her own DLC/spin-off in a few years.
