I can’t understand that this and MM got 87 on metacritic. That seems absurd. I certainly don’t see any flaws in SM1. For that to get 87 is beyond me.

I beat Mister Negative tonight. Pretty easy boss battle if you ask me. Went to Otto’s lab and am starting to get the tease of his turn to Doc Ock.

My PS5 copy of Spider-Man: Miles Morales - Ultimate Edition arrived yesterday. It includes Spider-Man - Remastered, so I am finally getting to enjoy this for the first time.

I can't believe how much fun I'm having just searching for Peter's backpacks, activating surveillance towers, and stopping random crimes. I haven't even bothered with the next story mission after I exited Otto's lab (though I had fun with the mini puzzles there too).

Well, I finally collected all the backpacks and activated all the towers. I guess I should finally tackle the next story mission, but... There is this side quest beckoning me first.

This is unusual for me, since I am not a completionist when it comes to games.

Finally encountered my first game breaking glitch. During one of the Oscorp Stations missions, where I have to photograph three cars releasing the most pollutants, the game refuses to let me activate the camera. Hopefully a simple reload does the trick.

Is it wrong that I had a blast with the second pigeon sidequest?

I also just finished the big action set piece with This game feels like the gorgeous love child of the Uncharted and Arkham games.

Got my second game breaking glitch. When clearing out a Demon warehouse, one of the goons during the last wave never exited the doors. So there was no way for me to finish him off, no matter how hard I tried. Had to restart the whole warehouse fight.

Yeah, those things happen. I had one in 2 that was annoying. For the quest, a random building is supposed to change when you start the mission to accommodate you going in to save someone. The building didn't physically change as it was supposed to and when the garage door was to open to free the hostage, it stayed closed. I could hear the person beckoning to me to pick her up but I couldn't get in. Had to restart the fight from the beginning.

I just finished the main game. What a rollercoaster ride! It felt like playing through a great Spider-Man movie. My only gripe is that the final scene fell flat. I get the vibe they were going for but it did not land. A rewrite and a reshoot were called for. The scenes before and after that moment were far more effective, even if was completely forgotten.

Wrapped up the main story tonight. Good game overall. I will say to me Doc Ock was pretty easy to beat. Kind of like the Arkham games the boss battles overall were pretty easy. I had more difficulty beating waves of Demon gang members or prisoners.

Yeah, the boss fights in general were the easiest part of the game. Especially the final fight. But they were fun nonetheless.

Yeah, still fun. I just expected them to be a bit more challenging, especially the Doc Ock fight. I only had to restart it twice and that was because of me making simple mistakes.

I still need to do stuff in the game. I’m only at 75% and have some of the side stuff and things like backpacks to collect and landmarks to photograph.

I just need to improve my rankings for the Taskmaster challenges (as well as beat him for once), and I need to tackle the DLC.
