You have to pick a destination on the map and select it and then press down on the left stick to autodrive there. But I never use that. Just drive like a normal game. As long as you don't touch the right stick (which will "swivel your head" and make driving nearly impossible) you'll be fine

People with missions have a different icon over their head than the default NPCs. Characters with story missions have that American themed (red, white and blue) diamond over their head.

After a three week hiatus away from the game I played it again all day yesterday...and realized just how fun it is and should've came back sooner. I got the resistance up to 100% in Faith's Region. Since I was away for awhile I decided to take the scenic approach and me and my two female NPCs' I call "Thelma & Louis" decided to walk the big loop. Glad I did because there's so much that goes on just on the roads themselves.
One thing I did notice when I came back to play was the lack of vehicles or just less of. When I was in the first area, John's it was a vehicle going by every 45 seconds. I have that mission where I have to take out five boats and supply trucks. The boats were easy but those supply trucks, nope. I stood at a intersection for 5 minutes and saw one truck and a 4-wheeler go by. I saw more walking than driving.

BTW I've discovered a quick way to unlock skills and make money fast : do co-op with a friend. Every Prepper Stash content is available for both players, so you can do one on your game save, then do it again on his and you'll end up with six Perk Points and lots of money for each one. It probably shouldn't be that way but it is.

I don't know how many of you participate in the live events, but this week's (ends Tuesday) is worth doing. Kill 10 wolves with arrows and loot them, in exchange you get the Shovel Launcher, which is hilarious and awesome.

This game makes me want to play at times I don’t normally play at. Time is of the essence. But I’m like I’ll just knock out a prepper stash. Just did one at Grace’s house. Though I don’t have lock pick perk to open safes. The only time I opened one was using a remote explosive. Nothing else breaks it open, not dynamite or normal grenade. Don’t even know where those remote explosives went, but I want them back. I like them. But the way to Grace’s stash was an easy one. Little warm, but not hard at all. Or I’ll do one more Cult outpost liberation. So much to do and many ways to do. I’ll do one where I don’t get detected. I know perks for better stealth, but get other things. I did finally buy that gun discussed. Very nice. I shot down two helicopters with it.
Speaking of weapons and throwables...is there a weapon wheel for either guns or throwables? I could have sworn I saw one with throwables or at least how to change throwables, but alas it elludes me...

Open Weapons Wheel. Highlight throwables, then use the D pad left or right. That is how you select which one to use.

How do you move in this game? If only there was an "options" area to explain controls.

Getting the Harvest Master perk is a must along with the Repair Torch which helps you break in Safes which yield a good chunk of loot along with the Silver Bars to use in store for special items.

In the options menu there is a "Tutorial" section which will allow you to review all the tutorials the game has shown you up until now. You might want to review those.

I've now conquered all three regions, and I will say about the only thing I don't like about the forced boss battles is that you're stuck with the weapons loadout you have at the time. On the last one, I had a weird mix that wasn't really conducive to what I had to face, and I would have loaded out differently had I known what was coming. That said, it made it more challenging, and I finished it with no health packs left and

I'm still working on my second region and I despise that you get "force captured" 2-3 times per region only to miraculously escape or be saved. Weak sauce to move the plot along that way.

Re: Far Cry 5 - 3/27/18
I'm at the end. I only have two missions left, storymode with Joseph and the Cheeseburger bobbleheads. I'm missing one and it's not on the map. It's kinda pissing me off. I guess I'll have to pull up an online guide and hunt for it that way.
I only had a problem with my loadouts on Faith but not the other two. I did have an issue with "stumbling" into the boss battle unknowningly. Not so much John, but with Faith and Jacob I accidentally stumbled into their vicinity and the game took over thinking I was starting that mission and went into cut-scene mode and boss battle. Weak design flaw.
Two of the three battles were shit:
John - dogfighting was terrible. I accidentally flew into him taking both our planes out. I died. When I respawned on the ground, the game determined that I completed the mission. He hops in a truck cueing the second half of the battle but he got his truck stuck on a rock right where it was parked. One arrow shot to the face while he was sitting in the driver seat and mission complete.
Jacob - I don't even remember fighting him it was so weak. I think I hit him with a single rocket and that was that.
Faith - The only one that was challenging with her "hopping" around in different spots. My loadout was a hinderence as I accidentally kicked this mission in, as mentioned above.

Did you buy the Cheeseburger map from the shop?

Re: Far Cry 5 - 3/27/18
Finally finished this. Overll I think it is the second weakest for me in front of 2. By the end I just felt like I wanted to get it over as it just wasn't as fun. And the ending is very....umm different. I personally prefer the bad ending to the good one.
Overall I enjoyed it but it didn't feel as good as it could have been. I kind of hope the next one goes back to its roots with enemies that are human and unhuman.
