Bought it this morning. Fun game so far. Very "Zelda" like... 'bout fell outta my chair when Grandpa started telling the story about the "lad who ventured the land of H-" when his grandkids interrupted him that they'd heard that one before.

Bought Brawlout, and its pretty fun but my hands keep wanting to do Smash Bros things and I keep getting wrecked!

I played Brawlout at PAX South a year or two ago and everyone said the same thing back then.

My (ahem) Daughter got a Nintendo Switch this morning. Very nice system. I'm glad I downloaded Rocket League last night considering all that's going on with the e-shop.

Does anyone have Rocket League for the Switch? If so, how can you just play a regular offline game? Also, I thought RL for the Switch came with the Mario and Luigi cars? Is this something that's extra you have to pay for? Thanks for any help you can pass my way.

Apparently Nintendo released a version of Super Mario Bros. on the eShop recently as part of the Arcade Archives collection. It’s called Vs. Super Mario Bros.. Not exactly sure what the differences are but I’ve read some aspects are harder.

The VS series were the arcade versions of NES games. VS SMB is SLIGHTLY different than the NES original. Yes it is harder in the way Lost Levels is harder.

Yeah, I downloaded it. Its largely the same game with some changes to things like items in the question blocks and the difficulty does feel a tad ramped up.

I won Golf Story during a Game Awards contest and started playing it yesterday. My friend at work has been recommending it for awhile, and it really is entertaining.

It's a little bit surprising and disappointing that the Switch doesn't have Bluetooth audio feature. The Playstation Vita had it and that came out in 2012. And back then Bluetooth headsets were expensive and iPhones still had headphone jacks.

It's not the perfect scenario, but you can use the wireless Sony PS4 one since it uses USB.

Picked up 1-2-Switch and Mario + Rabbids for Christmas. Enjoying the heck outta both games.

My son was ecstatic to get the Switch on Christmas Day. It took a while for me to get it connected to my wifi, but once I did he was up and running. Now, I just need to buy a controller so I can play too, lol. A friend had told me there were 2 sets of joy cons in the bundle I bought, but he was mistaken. I'm just gonna grab a wired controller because they are a WHOLE lot cheaper than buying another set of joy cons.

You can use the left and right pieces of the joy con as 2 different controllers.

Yeah, left Joy Con and right Joy Con work as individual controllers for numerous games (Mario Kart, Cave Story+, puyo Tetris, etc; )

I did. Mario, Luigi, and Samus are free unlockables. You can play offline against the AI.

But you already bought it, so maybe I'm misunderstanding your question? I bought it during the sale but haven't played it enough to answer directly, but I think the mario/luigi cars are specific to what team you're on when you play online.

You don't want a wired controller. Just get by with the left and right joy con for now.
I waited and watched and grabbed a "Like New" set of joy cons from Amazon Warehouse for $62.99. I'm now waiting for them to arrive. They go in and out of stock.

I don't know how different the interface is on the Switch, but on the PS4 and Xbox One, select "Play", then "Play Local".

AFAIK, the Mario, Luigi, and Samus cars are random drops. You don't get 'em out of the box.

I had Mario and Luigi right away but I didn't see Samus.
