Thanks. That Mario game looks fun! Will absolutely use Voucher #2 (well actually Voucher #6) on that one. It's not available for pre-order in the eShop yet, though.

This was my favorite direct they've ever had. A Super Mario RPG remake, a new 2D Mario and Pikmin stuff! Yes please.

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

the Super Mario Bros game seems to play more like a Sonic game, a little spazzy for a Super Mario game

That 2D Mario game definitely stole the show, and is the only thing they showed that I'm interested in.

October is too far away - I want it NOW!!!

They're up now.

Super Mario Bros Wonder
Super Mario RPG Remake
Detective Pikachu Returns ($49.99)
Wario Ware : Move It ($49.99)

-- Note that you don't save any money buying a $49.99 game with a voucher.

I'm excited to play the Super Mario RPG remake. It's one of the few games that I have played all the way through twice.

Mario RPG remake is welcome and I'm going to voucher it today, but the polished art style is the complete opposite of the original.

New 2D Mario is always good. Even better, Peach finally getting another game.

We're nearly 3 Nintendo consoles removed and still waiting on that Waverace or F-Zero revival. Or with Peach getting into the limelight, how about finally giving Zelda her own game given her namesake is the name of the entire franchise. How about a big open world Assassin's Creed/Fenyx Rising style Kid Icarus game?

The Arkham Trilogy is coming to Switch this Fall. All three Rocksteady games and the DLC. No set date though. Funnily I just started to play Arkham Asylum again on Sunday.

Peach is my favorite Mario series character and super stoked for her new game. Super Princess Peach on the DS is criminally underrated. Also excited for the Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon making it's way over but bizarre they didn't do the original Luigi's Mansion first since that already got an update from the Gamecube to the 3DS.

Thanks! Will definitely hold off and wait to pick that up then. Maybe they're waiting until plenty are available before releasing it to prevent another Metroid Prime shortage? Also glad to see the pricing for this HD release is much more reasonable at $50 for the two. I wonder if that means it's less of a remaster than Metroid Prime? Or is MP just more bankable?

Kind of shocked at the cost of the Mario RPG remake though. A full $60 game? I mean it does look great and looks built from the ground up but it's still a remake of an SNES game. I guess the comparison here is A Link's Awakening. But that game seemed like much more of full on upgrade. This looks like more like an upgraded texture pack.

You mean the one where her powers are her emotions?
So cringe!

Didn't take away from it being a great game. Also characters emotions being there power is in tons of games. Kratos goes into rage mode and gains power for example. The Life is Strange series is all about powers in different emotional states.

I know we like to joke about useless steelbooks around here, but how about a useless Switch cartridge?

The cartridge only has 2.4 gb on it, which isn’t enough to include a playable copy of even one of the three main games.

I recently dusted off my 3DS and have been going through some DS games I had but never finished and really enjoyed Super Princess Peach.

Yeah, would have been a nice touch to include both of the earlier Mansion games.
