I think it’s a pretty good game but I haven’t really played a lot of it. I much prefer the Nintendo fun style sports titles versus any done for pro sports.

Most of the game's entertainment comes from playing online against others or with other humans at the console. As someone that has played it more or less since launch, the online player base was starting to dwindle before the coronavirus hit and forced everyone inside at home. I imagine the online player base will once again fade as the country starts opening back up.
For full disclosure, I'm one of the highest ranked players in the world at the game.

Hopefully Switch's come back into stock before Summer... This price gouging the system for $600+ is ridiculous.

They come back in stock multiple times a week at various retailers they just sell out again fairly regularly.

Nice about the rank.
I'd imagine if Super Tennis had a rank back in the day I probably would have been up there.
I even mailed in a secret unlock to EGM. The last tennis game I gave any real time to was Top Spin 2.

You just have to be vigilant. I used the Nintendo website to search for a Lite for my wife. Let me know what stores had it in stock in my area. Target was usually the most consistent about having them. When I went in they had like 15 or so in stock (yellow).

Yeesh, who knew the Switch would peak 3 years out courtesy of disease.

I have a back-log of over 50 games on my "wishlist", mostly 2D indie games, with no idea how to choose which ones to purchase over others. Good problem to have, I suppose, though more and more games like those keep coming out every month. Just saw a video of 20 "metroid-vania" games coming to the Switch later this year that had me salivating.

^ Not Switch related but I'm in the same boat. Probably a dozen or so games on the pile to get to and another dozen on the wishlist (plus Cyberpunk and Ghosts of Tshushima around the corner). I gave GamePass a month trial (didn't find much there I didn't already own) and considered giving PSNow a shot, but with such a backlog, adding a "rental" service to the mix is just overkill. I need to stay focused on my pile.
I would like to add another Switch game to the mix though (the rest of my pile is on PS4 or Xbox) so I'll have something to play on it.

So this will release right before my final voucher expires... I really hope they add it to the voucher eligibility or I'll be scrambling for another game.

Very cool, that did come out of nowhere.
By the by, has anybody sent in their joycons to have the drift fixed in the last few months? All four of ours seem to be going, we have to use the Pro controller all the time.

I strongly suspect that they would. It would be a truly shitty thing for them to do to let the vouchers expire and not include their most recent Nintendo-published title when (I believe) literally every other Nintendo-published full $59.99 game was eligible.

It actually is voucher eligible, I just checked. I guess I'll just prepurchase it. And then they'll go ahead and reveal Pikmin or Metroid Prime or something.

So if you're looking for a switch and have a costco membership:
The picture says out of stock but I signed in and you can add to cart. Haven't tried to actually check out though:

I haven't been keeping up... Have any Switch docks been deemed "safe" these days besides the Nintendo made one? I think the Best Buy Insignia model has gotten pretty positive reviews. Anyone have experience with the BB dock or any other brands?

A buddy of mine has the Insignia, for when he borrows my Switch and has had no problems with it.
