Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

The next alliance slot will cost 1900 coins. That's around $13 (USD).

The pack of 2900 coins costs $20 (USD).

Thanks Dave. Frankly I don't know how it works. Is it bought in 3x600 and 1x200 pack or is there another way. However as I understand some get the option of discount. Who among us has that offer popping up. I somehow never had that deal thingy. I can PayPal to that player and he can buy instead.

Got a new cover for my Daken Classic with a Prodigal Sun token.

I swear I keep getting Bullseye lately. Tired of seeing that!

I think they ran that offer for everyone at a given time and there is currently no good deal. If someone needs to buy the coins for the slot, the best deal without going nuts is the 2900 coins for $20 option.

Got one from the same type of token. I was excited to be able to do better in the prodigal son event, but it hasn't helped much. I've beat every level on DC 3x and have about 1200, compared to first place, who has 2100. Not sure how others are getting that many points.

Don't know that I'll be able to do much more in any of the events for the next five days. I'm on a long weekend vacation with the wife and in-laws. We're staying at a cabin and I've got to walk 10 minutes to the lodge to get internet as there's no cell coverage. We'll see how often I can do that before I get in trouble.

Prophecy, do you have someone else wanting to join? For the last spot, we had the person joining pay to unlock their spot, so you might check if they're willing to do that. Might also see if they're willing to join the discussion here, as it's easier to chat here than in the app.

dont waste iso on cap or moonstone. Wolverine is helpful, but who you should focus on depends on your other teammates. Do you have any players maxed?

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

There's a max of 20 alliance spots. I wonder if we should reserve the last two spots (or at least the last spot) for forum regulars?

I don't have anything against the new posters that joined. I'm glad they're part of the alliance. Everyone's doing a great job and we've been getting better awards. I'm just saying it would be a shame if one of the veteran posters wasn't able to join in the future.

Or maybe I'm wrong and it's just better to have a couple more high scoring players. Two good players might help put us into the next bracket. We're often right on the brink of that Top 250 bracket.

I don't know. What do you guys think?

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

Hi max. No one joining from my side. To be frank, I didn't had enough to spend earlier so been shamelessly quiet about the spot I took. I'm in a position now to contribute so thought to ask way forward.

Dave, I totally agree with u. No offense to people who paid for spot but being active in game means a lot. That's the only way to be true, for better rewards. I had not spent a single penny till date and worked my way to whole lot of superb cards. Which means anyone can do it. So yeah, my vote is with u for better scoring joiners. I see many players that are high scoring without an alliance. Unfortunately no way to contact them.

Orange crush, I have Ares n storm maxed out. Since these r the options I have, so wondering which wud be better among these. Although my focus for now is Thor n obw but cards awaited to lvl up.

Is the game down for everyone? None of the current events are showing up, though I was able to get my daily resupply by re-beating a prologue mission.

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

Had been working pretty good on my end.
I got rid of daken to place additional storm on roster.
In next turns will ISOfy the moonstone and wolverine probably. Expecting to win ironman black for sure and hopping for daken classic. Fingers crossed again

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

I don't know if they changed something or what, but I'm constantly getting attacked in PVP now. I can't do anything to make any ground past rank 100. This game feels like a bunch of bullshit at times.

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

It's a bit ridiculous that you can lose points in PVP. Of course, if they removed that feature there would be no need for the shield, so big loss of revenue.

PVE has it's faults as well, namely that if you don't have the new character from the last event, you can't be competitive in the next one...rinse and repeat.

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

Yep, I'm currently enjoying that part of PVE with no Daken Classic. Try as I might, but I've had no luck getting one.

Sometimes I wonder why I even play this game.

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

I come back after an hour, and I was attacked like 8 times, and lost nearly 100 points. WTF. I'm not even in the top 100, so it's not like I have a ton of points or anything.

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

I play this game under dfin25, have a heck of a roster inuding black panther daredevil and falcon. Always seem to get hawkeyes and thors. cant get my grey suit storm maxed for anything and she is supposed to be a common drop when it comes to rarer cards.

The shield seems pretty useless in pVp anyway.

It's more useful the higher up you get, especially if it means finishing top 10 or something so no one can attack you and drop your rating.

Meanwhile, two Prodigal Son and two Heroic tokens and got nothing useful

Well on one of the heroic tokens I got an invisible woman. I have 6 of her covers now. Not sure if she will be any good yet.

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

In PvP I'm continuously attacking an reached 1300 points. Now all matches are like with 141 lvl cards. Not sure if I can make to the slabs of Ares and storm to build my second fleet of same cards.I'm referring to simulator

For other make sure when u r fullest power and health then attack in one go to whatever u can achieve and then go dead for 12 hrs or so. U will get attacked less this way. They it. Sure it will help

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

I have been having great luck the last couple weeks. Picked up a second Black Panther cover from a standard token, got a grey suit Storm today as a prize so she is only two from max and just got a Captain America Steve Rogers card from a standard token.

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

Some of these battles in the latest PvE sub-event are a pain in the ass. The left & right paths get easier if you can make it past the first battles. But the middle path just gets harder. I doubt I'll be able to finish that one.
