Knack was one of three games I got with the PS4 at launch. It's a good game for a Parent and Kid to go thru on couch co-op especially when it came out because it did look different and played easy while fun. There are plenty of areas where they can expand and give a bit more elbow room and make it a bit more challenging. We've gone thru it several times but we did not like the way it saved or forced you to run it multiple times and get the crystals over and over.

Deleting the game is ok while the User Data is retained and can be saved to Cloud correct so if anything does come around and needs previous data I can DL that and use it...correct.

I might go ahead with the holiday's and explore a new 2TB but I'd like to see how much I can clean out and save first.
You don't lose your saves or user data when deleting a game from your hard drive. You can save that stuff to the cloud, but you don't even need to do that, as they're in a separate section from where you delete game info. You can delete a game, then reinstall it, and all your previous progress will still be there.

Standalone. It's even getting its own retail release.

But is it going to be a full-priced $60 game, or will it be a shorter game, around $40 or so?

I would assume it's going to be like Left Behind with The Last Of Us. Probably $20.

I'm expecting $30 - $40. It's way larger in scale than Left Behind.

Just a small write-up from Gameinformer on someone who played two demos of Knack 2 at PSX....

TLOU Left Behind was $10. Even if this is bigger, I doubt it will be more than $20 for a "chapter".

Left Behind launched at $15 in the U.S.

It's large enough to get a standalone physical release at retail. It's not reusing a bunch of existing assets either like, say, Infamous: First Light. Maybe I'll be surprised, but I cannot imagine this being $20.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Update 2: Uncharted: Lost Legacy is to be made available as a standalone physical and digital release, but it’s also the single player content promised as part of the Uncharted 4 ‘Explorer’s Pack’ season pass.

You will get the download at launch if you have that, whether bought separately or as part of the Digital Deluxe Edition. However, you only have until December 13th to pick up either of these – the Explorer’s Pack is currently £19.99 – in what we assume it a similar to Dying Light and Fallout 4’s expansive season passes getting price hikes once the developers announced how big they were going to be. Fair’s fair, you have your warning.

So it's still DLC in that it comes with one of those old Season Pass options, but only for a limited time. Makes me think at least $15 or $20 or so might be likely, but hoping for cheaper.

The season pass is on sale for $22.49 this week at Best Buy. Yeah, it's only a $2.50 discount, but it's better than nothing.

$14.99. But I think this is way bigger.
I've gone back and forth since I don't do Uncharted MP and therefor have no need for 3,200 Uncharted Points or Coins or whatever. Still, I figure there's no way this comes out for under $20 and might be a fair amount more. So in the end I figure it's worth gambling and paying $22.49 now and locking it up. Thanks for that heads up, matty

I bet the physical release comes in at $30, so $24 after GCU.

Sounds about right. With tax that's over $26 for me. Saving $4 is worth the blind buy for me even though I'll never use the Coins I'm buying in the pack.
It is cool for those that play the MP that they're giving all the map DLC for free.

BTW : In case anyone was wondering if my warranty console swap achieved anything positive besides cleaning up my hard drive, it didn't. I still kept getting kicked out of Battlefield MP before the match started. Finally in exasperation I went to Costco and splurged on a $250 Nighthawk A6. When I was finally able to set it up, like magic I was finally able to play Battlefield MP. Everything else in the house works better now. Back to Costco goes the previous $140 router; the upgrade is well worth the extra $110. Wish I had tried that before sending my PS4 in for "repair". In any case, it looks like my problems are over now.

Some routers just do not do well with gaming. I am glad you got it all figured out, Decker.

The weird thing about it was that I wasn't even using WiFi. I plugged the console directly into an ethernet port on the router, got decent connection speeds above 30Mbps and could play other Multiplayer games. I just couldn't play Battlefield. And the other weird thing is that EA couldn't figure out that was the problem.

Not sure why but PS4 Netflix doesn't like powerline adapters. Movies look worse than VHS and the "test internet connection" gives me a whopping 75kbps... Weird, worked fine on the PS3. Anyway, since I have a dual band router now, I just switched to 5.0 wifi and everything is fine.

Over 50 million sold now

http://www.theverge.com/2016/12/7/13...les-50-million

Seeing sales figures always reminds me of a certain poster who was certain that the Wii U sales were poor because the market wasn't interested in consoles anymore.

Interestingly, my PS3 used to work great with the powerline ethernet connection I was using, but I tried it again recently with the latest firmware and it doesn't work. Same kinda thing you're describing. So weird.

Those were the days. We had a perfect trifecta of, let's say, instigators.

That's weird since the PS4 doesn't work with 5G WiFi (at least the launch units don't).

Thanks for the tip. I'm still going strong with the multiplayer, and am excited for the new co-op modes and story stuff, so this is a great deal.
