You'll generally lose humans unless they are your only focus. The trick is just to get as many as you can to earn weapon upgrades and bonus points. It's an old school score chase...literally a twist on Defender.

You have to take out the Keeper enemies which spawn. The game will say Keepers Incoming or something like that. It'll be a group of enemies who have a green halo around them. If you kill them, the human will drop. If you don't, they'll die in their cage.

Finally got my PS4, so here are my thoughts.

1. Packaging sucks! I thought my PS4 was already opened
2. The setup was quick and easy (no issues with PSN and firmware)
3. Dig the new XMB, simple and clean.
4. Free games, Contrast, Warframe etc. Download and auto installation (not like the PS3)
5. XMB is very responsive while playing games (unlike the PS3)
6. Dig the new share button
7. Dodged the BLOD bullet, proud to be the in 98% group
8. Love the new controller, very sexy
9. The PS4 is slim, no power brick!
10. $10 PSN, love it
11. The internet browser is actually usable
12. Dig the system info display, informative and concise.

Believe it or not, I do miss that translucent display on the PS3 after pressing the PS button... It's the oldest trophy hunting trick in the book Of course, I'll miss the offline trophy list as well :-P

Has anybody else tried the "Live From Playstation" app on PS4? It's kind of brilliant.

You can search for any game and it will bring up a list of live streams from that game. I just watched some Killzone multiplayer and a bit of Knack, and both look better than I expected. Killzone multiplayer looks pretty great, actually, and Knack doesn't look great to me, but it also doesn't look like a 3/10.

I knew watching live videos was going to be a thing, but this was the first time I'd actually used it. That's going to sell a lot of games.

Is there a way to remove things like the Playroom from the XMB? I'd really like it if I could just have games listed there.

I wish they would have folders for Download games and Disc Based Games. They could have it where you click down from each of those and it will bring up the line of apps that have been put there.

That eventually came to the PS3 so I wouldn't be surprised if we saw it in a future software for the PS4 as well.

I've tried the TRIANGLE button trick on the PS4, but it's not working... It allows you create folder and such on the PS3. I guess we'll have to wait for another update.

Oh, I also miss the POWER button, the PS4 has no physical power button?!?!

The top vertical light in front, the bottom is eject. Is there a way to eject without pressing that button?

It has a touch power button just like the PS3. Right above the eject button, which is equally hard to see if you're not looking for it.

If you mean the power switch the PS3 had, I agree. Even with power strips, I felt a bit of security turning off the main switch when my power goes out. I won't be using the standby mode at all.

Hit the OPTIONS button when on the tile of the game you want to eject.

Thanks! I actually read the manual, it did mention the EJECT button, but can't find the POWER button.

Eject: highlight game...hit options button...select "remove disk"

Yeah, I also think the main switch is useful. The PS3 froze a number of time on me and sometimes even the power button cease to function. So I had to manually turn off the main switch on the back (it's painful I know, but the only way to reset the system).

If this happens on the PS4, I guess I'll have to unplug it Oh, thanks for pointing out the POWER button on the PS4, it's so damn elusive!

Myself, I kept hitting the eject button expecting a tray to pop out somewhere lol.

I have to admit that I had to take a close look at it at first to figure out where to put the disc. I couldn't tell which side of the console the drive was on.

How did you turn your system on the first time if you don't know where the power button is?
