Other than Titanfall, which looked amazing, and maybe Dead Rising, Xbone conference failed pretty hard IMO.
- Rehash games (Halo/Forza)
- Quick Time Events (really?)
- $500 price tag (at least $100 of which is Kinect features you don't care about)
- Nothing to address concerns about DRM
- Nothing to address concerns about privacy

I didn't even watch the MS press conference
But judging from the list of what was shown, the only thing I would be interested in checking out is Killer Instinct.

It's E3, it was bound to focus strictly on the games. They need to get a formal info sheet out there to stop the speculation.
I would say it's the PS4s to take at this point but I expect it to be pretty much the same unless they focus some time on Gaikai. I really do hate the controller design though.

The one thing I'm sure of from that press conference is that Killer Instinct will not be a great game. It'll sell a bunch of copies based on nostalgia, but that's about it.

Was anyone expecting Microsoft to completely address all of the issues people are complaining about? I was expecting games and I think they did a decent job in showing what the system has to offer.
Although I tend to a agree, how are you "sure" that it's going to suck?

So two of Microsoft's big non-Xbox1 announcements are a newly redesigned version of the 360 that's only 4 GB and the fact that you can now download two free games per month, each of which is larger than 4 GB, if you're a Gold member. Am I the only one that finds this kind of hilarious?

CNET posted that XBone games were going to cost $100. Turned out to be false, thank god. There is no way I'd pay $100 for a video game.

100 dollars for a game and DRM out the ass would be the end of a console. Even at 60 bucks a game tighter DRM will make most gamers more hesitant with their money.

I'm still not sold on streaming games from a cloud. I don't see how there isn't going to be lag.

Well, I remember when Rare games became Xbox exclusives and they pretty much did nothing for the regular Xbox. I haven't followed much of this past generation, but are they only a joke now? I had thought most of the N64 Rare developers went over to Eidos anyway.

No, that two of the big 360 announcements were free games and a newly redesigned version that couldn't let you download them. But it looks like the latter isn't entirely accurate and was just sloppy IGN reporting.

They've been terrible ever since the xbox days, so it's not new. idk what companies the N64 Rare team are with, but I know most of them left before being bought by MS.

When Microsoft overpaid for Rare, Nintendo basically turned Retro into Rare for the Metroid Prime series and DKC returns, all four of which are amazing games.

This was 12 or so years ago, though, so I'm sure most of that has changed.

CheapyD from cheapassgamer just said he thought it was one of their best conferences ever. lol Such a fanboy.
To be fair, a lot of ppl were bitching that the first reveal didn't show any games so I can see why they made the conference completely about games.
Unfortunately, I didn't find the games particularly exciting. I think world building games are overrated and very niche. I don't want to have to build my game. That's the developer's job.

Didn't they announce World of Tanks for the 360 or is that for Xbox One?
