Re: Watch Dogs

The lack of being able to replay story missions is a negative mark on this game. I wonder if they can/will ever patch that in? I don't want to have to restart the whole campaign to play some of my favorite missions again.

I haven't had any real issues playing the game. Are they multi-player related?

I still have the issue of not being able to access the 1v1 online hacking/intruding despite being able to previously do so .....

Online Tailing: Complete Online Contracts Introduction to unlock
Online Free Roam: Complete They Can't Hide to unlock
Online Decryption: Complete They Can't Hide to unlock
Online Hacking: Complete Online Contracts Introduction to unlock
Online Race: Complete they can't hide to unlock
ctOS mobile challenge: complete they can't hide to unlock.

...... but I would not say the issues are limited to just that

Re: Watch Dogs

I actually turned off the online invasion stuff. They always seem to happen at the worst time for me and really pulled me out of the game.

This is my experience so far. I'm often getting invites and stuff while in the middle of something and when I had my game/system back at the PS4 menu I was actually invaded. I discovered that I was invaded and failed to stop them when I came back to see the screen showing my loss of points. Ugh!

Re: Watch Dogs

I really enjoy this game. I am about halfway through Act 4, and have completed most of the side stuff. Need to still find about 10 more songs tho. It seems like a chore trying to locate those people.

Re: Watch Dogs

just finished the campaign

difficulty seems to ramp up near the end
some unique missions as well

loved the steam pipes and explosions effects

I thought there was an ability to raise and lower bridges, am I wrong or did I loose it?
also anyone else rotate the bridge back when leaving the bunker even though you knew no one else would get there?

one thing I noticed is they sure like to take you from one end of the map to the other from mission to mission .... wonder if that is a technique to make the campaign seem longer ... than goodness for fast travel

Re: Watch Dogs

The worst part of the game is the stupid stealth insta fails. Oh and the take down the target instead of kill him gang hideouts.

Re: Watch Dogs

I hate Insta Fails. Just give me a chance to escape. I was playing Wind Waker HD yesterday and the first dungeon had that shit in it

Re: Watch Dogs

I'm having zero issues with the gang hideouts. I actually think they are too easy. At least easier than the ones in Far Cry 3. And yeah, the FC3 ones were cooler.

The human trafficking missions are really bad for this. Go to one place to listen to someone talk, then go to the other side of the map to collect a briefcase. Luckily it's not one whole mission, but two different ones, so you can fast travel.

I'm done with just about everything except for the drinking games (ugh those are annoying), and some online stuff (still need a few more hacks). Oh, and finding the last 2 songs from random people is pissing me off.

I do have some fun with the hackers coming in if I know they're coming. Basically anytime I get a bounty, I know a hacker is coming in. So all I do is head to the nearest open area and wait. Gotten 5 or 6 guys before they could even start their hacks.

Same here. Finished them all last night. Super easy when using stealth.

What was a big pain was that last mission of arms trafficking.

Re: Watch Dogs

Hey I can finally share a PS4 screenshot!

OK, I just finished the game to 100% completion. After finishing off the drinking game a little while ago for the platinum, I decided to finish off the only thing I had left: Online Decryption. I needed 5 more wins in that really crappy online mode, and luckily I got them in about 10 matches. That game is OK on the maps where people don't just grab cars and drive around the map. But still, you can dominate the whole round, get picked off right at the end, and lose. Silly.

Re: Watch Dogs

Nice. Congrats. I just wrapped up the campaign myself. I think my completion is around 40% overall. I just don't have any desire to go back. Hopefully the sequel makes the same type of progress that AC made with I to II.

I'm trying to finish the first Act and I'm hating that last mission.

Re: Watch Dogs

Blah... just got the 90% loading bug that some other people on the UBISoft forum have reported.

I had been playing just fine the past few nights. Last night, I unlocked an UPlay action reward Family Man for completing Act I. Today, when I tried to load up my game, it stalls at 90% and won't load the game. Which is an issue that many other people are reporting on the UBISoft forum.. Not sure if the UPlay action is the cause, but it seems like it might be the cause as I got that action last night and played a little bit more. Now trying to load the game and it won't go.

I had also unlocked the rewards ONLINE CONTRACT CASH BOOST and PAPAVERO STEALTH EDITION as I had UPlay points from previous games. I redemed those near the start of my playing.. so I had them unlocked for days, so I don't think that they are the cause. Some are reporting that these are the cause of the bug.. not sure.. whatever it is I hope it gets fixed soon as I want to keep playing the game to finish it. I'm only in the beginning of the second act, I think, I've been doing most of the location check-ins and finding all the towers to unlock, etc.

Re: Watch Dogs

Finally almost done with this damn game. 10 more fixer contracts to go for the achievement! No way I'm ding the drinking contests...waste of 5-6 hours of my life for something not fun. I hope the petition to get that shit removed goes through in a patch.

Re: Watch Dogs

I have just the drinking games left. I got one of the three complete.. but can't get past level 7 of central chicago one, and having problems with level 6 of the pawnee.. I'm done. Those by far are the least favorite part of the game..

Re: Watch Dogs

So apparently some folks have found additional graphics settings from the E3 demo in the PC version which were hidden "for some reason" (so the consoles didn't look so bad). Unlocked the game looks pretty awesome, visually - much, much better, in fact. Here are some screens:

I think I may pick this up now that it doesn't look worse than GTA IV did 5 years ago.
