That sucks. I just got three dumpsters in a row but fortunately didn't accidentally buy any of them.

24 hours to go in that quest, so I just set all my characters on 24-hour jobs. Take that, EA!

Just kidding, it was a graphics glitch... in my Nexus tablet.

That happened to me too. Well.. not lead up.. but I have tons of picket fences. Tried the Homer Buddha trick.. instead of the phone giving me the shutdown prompt, it just went into screen saver.. Which made the Homer Buddha prize shown stick in my inventory box It cost me all of my donuts (15). I ended up just selling the picket fences.

I hope Family Guy does not release a game like this until this has run it's course. I don't think I could keep up with both games at the same time.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I've been doing well with the Buddha trick and donuts. Unfortunately every so often I screw it up and i get a fence or flowers. Also lost 150 donuts because it didn't save this morning. And lost 60 to my own nervousness and switching off the iPad. I'm still ahead though.

I'm about to collect a boardwalk tile and finish my Wolfcastle leg, and the EA server goes down.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

New update!

Todd, Rod, Kamp Krusty (premium).

Just started Kamp Bart Prologue, 12 hrs, you need Bart and Grampa.

And also Rod and Todd Pt. 1, 4 hrs. I think you need Lisa and/or Marge for them.

Figures.. I just put all my available people on 8 hour tasks as Wolfcastle was on a task that long.

**EDIT**

Put a bench and building in storage to free up Gramps and Lisa to advance those quests. Building Sir Putts-a-Lot now.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Am I the only one who doesn't care if my characters are tied up and I therefore can't start a quest for another 4/8/24 hours? Whatever. The quest line will still be there -- absent stuff like Whacking Day or July 4 where there's an end date, I'm in no hurry.

Right now, I've got enough in the bank to buy Sir Putts a Lot, but I'm this close to leveling up, so I'm waiting to make sure I don't need to spend the cash on donuts. If I'm lucky, I'll pull the 3 donut prize on the first try and keep all my cash, but knowing the way my luck runs in this game, I'll have to buy all 3 boxes.

Then it's off to the miniature golf course (I've already bought and cleared land for it).

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Normally I dont.. But I like new content and/or new characters and it looks like you get Rodd and Todd eventually, so I wanted to get a jump on those.

There's another building as well, that's over 300k to buy. I had about 400k saved up, so the mini golf course took up most of that.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Wasn't the mini golf course previously a premium item? Or is this one different so that there is the premium one (bought with donuts) and this new one bought with "cash"?

It was bought with hearts during the Valentine's Day promotion.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Awesome Mystery Box makes up for some of the cash and hedges!

Of course I almost immediately pissed away half of it on a failed Homer Buddha attempt.

Plus I was trying to Buddha enough donuts to get Lincoln so I didn't have to resort to buying, but it appears that he was available "till" July 25 rather than "through."

Yeah, I'm not too bent up about it, but I like to start things sooner than later in order to make progress. Unfortunately, Bart is available but Gramps is on schedule with the current Wolfcastle quest so I'll have to wait a few more hours to get this going.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Kinda bummed that Kamp Krusty is a pretty expensive premium item. I'm willing to spend donuts on a building that comes with an additional character, but not just a skin for an existing one.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Nice! Didn't expect an update today. Also confused as to why the Camp is a premium item. I also recall people finding things like fire pits and tents in the game files a while back, I assumed we would get those with the camp but it doesn't look that way. Looks like all we get is some Left Handed car display which doesn't make sense to me, and an expensive Mental Health building.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I won 60 donuts in the Buddha trick today but lost 30 donuts on crap getting there. So I made 15 in reality. I bought some and got the left handed roadster and parked it in Flanders backyard.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I went ahead and built the mental hospital and the mini golf place and brought my bank down to $100,000 but I've never gone ahead and bought buildings immediately like that in these last few levels so it was fun to do. Bummed about the Lincoln misunderstanding as I thought it was through today and I really thought about going for it. Kamp Krusty for 200 is way out of my wallet's league. Just can't do it.

Sorry.. misunderstood.. I think it was in the build menu with all the buildings and should have been marked as new. At least it was in my game.

Did you buy it during the Valentine event earlier this year? Maybe thats why you don't see it?

**EDIT** you have to get an update first. You may have not gotten that. Not sure.
