Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I ended up getting the Liberty Bell on the 14th. I thought that portion of the 4th of July stuff had ended, and only Lincoln continued on.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I got my bell yesterday too. Took me forever to buy the fireworks since I don't have very many characters.

I finally got something other than fences, trees, and dumpsters in my buddha box: Squeaky Voiced Teen!

I realize we just got two non-donut buildings, but I'm a little bummed by the donut purchases. This would go nicely with the krustylu studios... if I had that.

Ah, thanks. I noticed I got a big XP surge but figured I was just being awesome.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

The only reason to continue getting tiles, for the Squidport, is to fill out the water space. Other than that, right now, there's no reason.

I finished the quests, but I'm going to still build them just incase they release more buildings or do something else in that area. Current tiles, after 31, are 10000 and 2 days to build. I hope they top out at some cost and just don't keep increasing the cost and length of time to build.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Got the filmset, no idea what it does.

Also, i would keep building Squidport as they have a lot of other buildings they could add down the line.

Krustyland is going to be HUGE, got to save up more donuts!

Yup and yup. Unless one is really hard up for cash, I don't see a good reason not to keep building tiles because it would suck to need them later and go through the same waiting process. If you can't afford water space, you can still build them and store them.

Did anyone hear if there was truth to the rumor that tapping on someone else's completed tile will give them an extra tile? I'm about to finish one, if someone wants to run a test with me. I can also help someone run a test on their own tile if they prefer.

Still can't find documentation on the neighbors' tiles.

Ugh.. that sucks.. but it does give credit to the thought that they are going to do more with it in the future.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Fun, I just spent 4 donuts accidentally because the dog race track "you lost" message popped up and along with it is the 4 donut tap to race again, clicked that accidentally and there is no confirm donut spend function for that. Back down to 12 donuts.

And then I bet you lost your four-donut race on top of that.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Yep. hit the 99:1 once and then I tried the next lowest odds (20:1?) dog about 4x and then when that hit I went back to the 99:1, havent hit it again in the last 30 or so tries. Who cares, $2K is nothing when you got professional athlete type bank. It's the loss of donuts thats got me carving into my wrist

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Totally with you. I just came THISCLOSE to spending two donuts on speeding up the Simpsons house, but fortunately I got the confirm screen and slowed down enough to read it and hit the right button. That would have sucked to blow donuts on a 45-second build!

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Whoa, I won the racetrack 99-1 jackpot for $200,000!

I'll hit $1,000,000 in the bank for the first time ever in the morning! I think after that I'm going to buy Wolfcastle Mansion and the "Gime" (Gym). I set up the landscaping for where I want the mansion and the empty lot is just sitting there.

Added you to the OP, Nesbit.

Nice. I've played the track about 20 times so far for 99:1. Haven't hit yet.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I've had a few quests for him so far, after the Quimby one, Wolfcastle activated a few, then the one I'm currently doing was triggered by Krusty.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I was going to ask the same thing. I had two quests after Wolfcastle built, then last night the second one finished and I had everyone free, but no new quest appeared.

I finally got a 30-donut bounty in the Buddha quest glitch but I released the power button too early and lost it.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Yeah, I just hit quest #3, apparently triggered by a random unrelated Burns quest in the middle there.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

That walkthrough is not accurate. I am just about done with Step 10 according to that guide, however I never saw steps 4-9. Either my game skipped all of that, or that list is out of order. Actually, I did do Step 9, as that was the 1st task that was offered.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

That #9 task not sure if it's right.Since that's a premium building. Maybe it would only trigger if you have it.
