In places where it's already Monday, the first challenge for the week has already appeared. It is to craft and place the tree lot. If you've already done that, it doesn't count and you can't craft another one.
If you haven't crafted it yet, wait. If you have crafted it, hope EA patches it this week.

Hey, the abominable snowman is now an assignable character!
Yeah, those should've stayed. I did craft one ski chalet because it was the only useful item in Act 1.
It's also fairly cheap in resource cost.
I've got the glitch now.
Yeah, they probably have skeleton crew on staff but who knows where this game ranks in their priority.
That would be only right of them since 20 donuts is what's at stake if we aren't able to finish the weekly challenges.

Yeah, the X mas tree lot produces mistletoe so I crafted it right away since I was saving all the bells and ribbons but they took away the items from act 1 that were craftable. EA will probably produce a patch since there really is not a way to complete the daily/weekly tasks right now so the tree lot is producing the mistletoe in the meantime.

I got hacked!
I went to log in and it told me it didn't recognize my email/password. So after checking for typos, I went to ea.com and still couldn't log in. Then I checked my email and saw I had an email from ea -- which basically said "Your email address has been changed to [email protected]. Click here to change it back."
Fortunately, I don't have any payment cards on file with EA. Nor did the hacker appear to have done anything to my Springfield.
Thank god I play this game, and as a result log in once every hour or three. Otherwise, I might not have noticed for months (which probably wouldn't have been terrible since I don't have a payment card on file with EA, but still ...)

Anyone know how to get space for more ads in the "Lodge a Complaint" quest? I'm at the max of 50 but it says I need 75 to finish it??

You need to unlock the slots for more Springfielders to do tasks at the building, that ups the number you can store.

New update in the game to bring back the act 1 craftable items. Looks like them may have upped the number of presents per day.

Weird that we didn't get free donuts today or a Gil deal on donuts. Feels like that's something we usual get on Christmas Day itself.
I tried rushing the Gingerbread House at the last second for 50 donuts at the end of Act 1 and I misread how many jobs were left so it didn't do diddly-squat but waste donuts. Too bad.
I think this event relies on you visiting neighbors to keep up with the prizes but I keep freezing or crashing when I get to neighbors' towns so no Patches and Poor Violet for me. We'll see if I get through Act II or not.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Does anyone here need ribbons for crafting, I don't need anymore and instead of doing what I've been doing for the last few days of dumping all of my gifts in a random town I'd ask. I already did mine this morning, so I can't send anymore until tomorrow.
I will drop them all in the water near the boardwalk
I will do them all as nice
If you have a batch in the water from me CHOOSE NAUGHTY
I want NO GIFTS IN RETURN, I have plenty of ribbons as it is.
