I'm doing the same. I only need one more item (the pool) and keep getting birdbaths and fountains. I'm just going to wait until I have about 30 spins saved up and go crazy.

Yeah, and I still have Marge earning hearts. I continue to visit KL twice a day to pile up tickets but am just sitting on them in hopes that they'll be useful someday. I don't need cash either.

For a while, we were getting periodic donuts in the balloon game but I don't think I've seen those in a long time.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I actually bought all KL land, so yeah, right now I'm not running any task there. Although I want beautify my KL, but don't have time and inspiration.

Just Marge and Homer to the Tunnel of Love. It would be great if they showed there. I don't see any special animation when are there either.

My recollection is that the odds on that were supposed to be 1% per balloon.

That was my last award. It just happened. I stopped collecting a lot of hearts, visiting friends, etc. and one day got 1 turn, and the lamp post was mine.

I thought it was something like doughnuts for every 300 (or maybe 500) balloons you pop.

Every 100 plays. So yeah, it's every 300 balloons you pop.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

BTW - For those who are saving up spins for one final spinning frenzy, the last day of the VD'14 event is Feb 25th (next Tuesday). Presumably at 3am ET, so I would recommend spinning everything down on Monday at the latest.

To all of my friends: I'm sorry I am not consistently visiting your towns and giving you cards, but every time I visit other towns (or even play in my own town) my game crashes.

You could say that every time you open the game, it flattens your actual house. It would seem unlikely, but it's EA. Maybe it could happen.

My experiences:
Android 4.4 - Crashes a lot, but closes to the home screen and opens a notification box.
BlueStacks - Crashed less, but froze. I had to exit and force close every time.
iOS 7.0 (used only a couple days) - Crashed once. Dropped out to the home screen with no notification.

Doesn't even touch on how often the game stutters. Graphical glitches. Failures to connect. How EA manages to get this game to be so buggy is a marvel of the ages.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Same here, minus the crashing. I try to visit each neighbour every couple of days, so that I hit half of the 90 plus each night. Just takes too long and I don't have the time.

I just need the damn balloons on the wheel. I've ready spun for them for days, over 20 spins. I keep getting everything but. They're so cute I just want them regardless of the krustyland ride.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

V-Day was pretty terrible. As soon as I got the love tunnel I stopped collecting hearts. I don't need a dozen pink fountains, carts, trains etc. I'd like a bunch more fencing but not at the cost of littering my inventory with all these valentines items I can't sell. I do like being able to place rose bushes though. I've gone from being addicted to this game for 6-8 months to checking in once a day just to cycle my krustyland peeps as I have 4 more plots of krustland to buy, then I will have absolutely nothing to do in this game beside collect $ I will never spend.

I pretty much stopped logging in after unlocking the Tunnel of Love and been on a Tapped Out break ever since.

2013 Whacking Day was tedious. The 2013 Christmas Wheel was frustrating. V-Day 2014 was just uninspired and unrewarding.

It should end next Tuesday. I hope they don't extend it.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Hmm.. I may have to splurge on a small pack of donuts with some cash. I have 125 currently. Getting a new building, and 2 characters for 200 donuts is a nice deal.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I'd consider getting Krustylu Studios, but with around 300 houses I don't have room for it.

Do you still need that many houses? If you have enough money saved up you could probably put a good chunk of those in storage.

So is everyone actually buying donuts with real money?

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Yeah. And there are iTunes cards sales from time to time. Last great was $100 card for $75.

$100 card for $80 or $85 are common too. Or 10-15% discount in any card.

BTW, my reserves are at 10 million now.

I'm not.
If I have to pay I don't need it.
