The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
It ends with a premium decoration that gives something like a 0.75% multiplier. You could put Brandine into storage to cancel it so that she can do the St. Patrick's task. If you don't care about the multiplier, though, the decoration isn't all that interesting.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Managed to get multiples of the buildings being offered for the event and should have the Collider in a day or two. I am barely managing to even play the game once a day at the moment. I feel really burnt out on this game and it feels more and more like a damn chore every time i have to play it. I cannot wait for this event to end as i am gonna have a a break for a while. Money is up to 30 million, so happy to leave it at that for the moment and stop giving people tasks unless its story related.
The decoration isn't anything spectacular, but I'd still break the Spuckler quest in order to make progress on St. Patrick's Day. For one thing, it's more interesting. For another thing, it's still a multiplier. I know it's annoying to lose progress on a long-build task like that, but you'll have plenty of time after the event to build another Spuckler.

There are only about 6 hours left before Issue 3 (and its crafting) ends and Issue 4 begins. I've got 243 lockpicks, 4 capes, 6 handcuffs, and 249 phones. Guess I'll be making a ton of phone booths before I go to bed.

I built about 25 phone booths yesterday.
I was only about 1000 ray guns away from another round of donuts. Kind of bummed about that, but i did get a lot from this event.

I didn't get the last 2 episode 3 items.
And I missed getting the Zenith City tower. Hoping I can get all the items from Episode 4.
I must be missing something in the game as I always feel behind on these types events. I see people flying through them and getting everything really quickly while I'm struggling to get a decent amount of whatever item each day. Is there some secret I don't know about? When Ep 3 ended, I was about 10,000 ray guns away from the 2nd of 3 items.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
It seems like the last couple events have really rewarded frequent play, like awarding more currency the quicker you tap after a neighbor's visit, and having constant streams of antagonists you could tap. If you're in a position to only play a couple times a day, I could see how it'd be tough to accumulate items.
Yeah.. I enjoy the game, for the most part.. But it gets frustrating and discouraging because I'm missing out on items, buildings or characters because I have limited opportunities for getting into the game. I've moved on from being discouraged about premium items because I don't pay to buy donuts to buy them.. But things that I could earn from events that I miss do sting.

EA really needs to give us another land expansion soon. The new prison and the Radioactive man statue are both close to a full land square in size, and it looks like one of the upcoming prizes is nearly as huge -- and that's not even counting the two skyscrapers and Zenith City stuff.

Someone posted a similar pic, but with yetis on another board.
I had what looked like a bunch of toilet paper strewn in trees one day. It was white, so not Easter stuff.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
The current episode seems to lay out the quests like this: 4 hours, 4 hours, 12 hours. So a couple times I've had my job finish at 3 a.m.
I'm nearly done with the event. As far as I can tell, the first two Issue 4 prizes

I've worked so hard at the layout of my town and have loved how it looks, but it's just too crowded now and I'm getting frustrated. I'm thinking of nuking it and staring from scratch, but dunno if I'm ready to commit to that or not, lol.

There's an app store update to take down the superhero event. There's also a revamped mystery box with better prizes. You get one free, I got the the news van, which is normally 40 donuts and added 2% to my multiplier. Kearney, Lard Lad Donuts and the Blue Haired Lawyer are among the new prizes.

Yeah, the last two mystery boxes I got were a parking lot and newspaper dispenser.
I'd just started assigning everyone on 24-hour tasks to kill the time till something new hit. The good news is that I finally finished growing the corn I had speculatively started before the Valentine's event--at least I had Witch Marge to finish it in less than 90 days. The annoying thing was that not longer after I'd started, I got a quest to grow the 45-second flower so that's been sitting there for weeks.
