Yeah, I started playing in August 2012, so I never saw that.

I think the stealing of the lemon tree is an interesting idea but not if they're offering it for sale for donuts.

Uh-oh. I won Claus Co. on the wheel but the little notice that says it's in my inventory hasn't popped up. It's still glowing and I'm afraid to push the back button to go into my town and find out it hasn't counted. What should I do?!?!

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

 I had to set the phone down to give my daughter a bath. I turned the game back on and it was stuck on the wheel but reset as if there hadn't been a spin. When I went to hit the back button to back out of the game, it said I won $1000. Then I got frustrated and did all fifteen of my spins. All money. No. Claus. Co. No. Happy. Co. :brickwl2:

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Is anyone else having log-in issues? It's logged me out, and when I punch in my email address, it prompts me to create a new Origin account. That frightens me. It frightens me greatly.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I don't know what's going on. I went to play, the game says I've been logged out n need to sign back into origin. I do, and when I enter my email address, instead of going to the password screen, it asks me to sign up by choosing a password n entering my age. WTF? How do I contact EA?
Thanks in advance guys.

I just saw your post JasonF. Same exact issue here.

Good to know it's not just me

And Braddock. Must be on their end. Lets hope they fix it soon!

Yikes, and I thought I had Claus Co. troubles!

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I just checked origin.com and when I click log-in, I get an empty pop-up. Clearly something is wrong with their servers. Hopefully no data has been lost.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Now a msg comes up that they are undergoing maintenance n are aware son players can't connect.

Some*

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Weird that that msg only came up on my iPad when I tried to log into my feeder town. It doesn't come up on my phone for my regular town, still tryin to get me to sign up. But at least they're aware

Natureswarden 01-02-14 09:39 PM

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I don't know how to add the image, but the Bart screen says:"We are aware some players may have lost connectivity to The Simpsons: Tapped Out mobile game and are unable to play. Our team is currently investigating the issue. We greatly appreciate your patience and are working to get normal access restored as soon as possible."

Natureswarden 01-02-14 09:43 PM

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

And it says "undergoing maintenance" above the msg.

JasonF 01-02-14 09:43 PM

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

The good news is that Origin usually tosses a few donuts to players affected by things like this, so I guess there's that to hope for.

Natureswarden 01-02-14 09:49 PM

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

That'd be nice. I just hope they're able to restore our towns. I've heard of other ppl not getting them back before, although this seems to be on a larger scale.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I went on to visit all of my neighbors a little less than two hours ago. I did have some difficulty for a while. I was stuck on the title screen while the donut spun continuously. After waiting a bit, I restarted and was able to get on. Didn't have any trouble getting on just now.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I was able to log in, but I was rolled back to level 7 (I'm on 14) and only has me having one friend. I tried to log out, and it said the servers can't be reached. At this point I doubt I'll ever spend money on doughnuts,

JasonF 01-03-14 12:48 AM

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Give it until the morning and then send a note to customer support if it hasn't been resolved. I was able to get back in and everything looked normal in my Springfield. When I visit your Springfield (braddok3786409) , it shows you as level 14, so the info is there on the server somewhere.

Looks like everything has been resolved. I had the same login issue yesterday and it worked fine this morning.

Well, the Cooling Towers skin should be unlocked later today, completing the Community Prizes.

For those of you still struggling with Personal Prizes or the $1000 Krusty Prize Wheel of Hate™, the Christmas Event has been extended another week to January 14.

All I need is 2 more freaking prizes. The Abominable Snowman and the Ice God. and I could take or leave the stupid ice god.
