I just got a text from TRU that indicated they will put xbox one consoles on sale at their site for sale at midnight. I would assume midnight et but it didn't say

Don't know who this prick is, but if you can't play a game if not connected to servers and the servers are down, well, it's a shitstorm that needs to be brought to light to make the people who made such a dumb decision answer for that shit.
Basically, it seems like the people who should understand internet infrastructure conveniently forget it when it comes to implementing DRM.

He's saying the servers are up, but DNS issues are keeping them inaccessible. It's just semantics over the use of the word "down".

I'm pretty geeky but use "down" and "inaccessible" interchangeably. I'm sure Tom Warren would hate me.

Anyone want to take some guesses at the Xbox sales for the first day compared to PS4's million? Since preorder numbers were about 10% lower, I'm going to guess 700k or so, factoring in the higher cost of the system a bit.

Can't wait for tomorrow!!
