FWIW, MS & Google aren't exactly getting along at the moment over YouTube for Windows Phones (for whatever reason) so YouTube integration on X1 in 2014 might be on the back burner for Google. Admittedly, this is pure speculation on my part though.

How so? Two tech titans in a pissing match over one device will magically work things out over another device while maintaining the grudge match over the original device? Not sure how that's apples and oranges.
I just switched to a Windows phone so I hope they work their shit out. MS + Google getting along is good for everyone. |

Apparently the day one firmware download won't be too bad.
"We are optimizing Xbox One so that the day one update is as fast as possible," Whitten said. "While we're still finalizing the details, we expect that the download will take between 15 and 20 minutes for most users." |

Yeah, I might like going to the gym to do my workouts. However, people like my wife are already excited we're adding an Xbox One to the house based upon the concept alone. She loved her fitness games on the Wii (like EA Sports Active and its sequel) and this does look like the next evolution. Sony might be doing a great job appealing towards hardcore gamers, but they haven't been doing a great job at appealing towards the casual user. Between what we've seen in the past few weeks with the NFL and now this, I'm fucking stoked. I agree with the other posters saying that they have to fix the tracking issues for it to be popular. I tried several of the exercise programs on the old Kinect and they all sucked, especially when comparing them to just doing a regular BB video. |

Note: The GPU is no more powerful than it's original specs, it's just that a portion of it that was reserved for Kinect is going to be "unleashed" at some point in the future.
