That's weird.

The only time I've ever been disconnected was while I was playing and there was an update. I was kicked back to the main screen and then it wouldn't connect for about an hour.

No wonder the majority of people say this game is a huge grind. It took me almost the whole campaign to get to level one Vanguard. Not really wanting to repeat the same stuff over and over just to get to two. I've done the cave for a few hours and I think I have one thing equipped from all that, a +4 light item.

Whoever thought of this leveling system after level 20 should be required to play this game for two days straight with no food, water, or bathroom breaks. To basically relying on loot droops for leveling up and the shooting of enemies means absolutely nothing after level 20? I don't see the point. Playing the same strikes over and over again would have at least kept my interest if I knew I could keep leveling up just by killing bad guys.

Am I correct that the only way to level past 20 is to find equipment that is +light?

Also, I hit 20, got some decent IMO equipment. Went into a free-for-all match... and just got destroyed by folks level 26 and up.

Super frustrating and makes me significantly less interested in even trying to learn multiplayer.

Pretty much so and I have the same PvP experience. I'm working on finishing out my subclass to get the achievement since I'm an achievement whore, then this game is gone. Game gets better after level 20, yeah right. Just watched the Angry Joe video and can't believe how spot on it is.

It took me until 21 or so to have a chance to dominate multiplayer.

I'm getting destroyed by people half my level. Ended the last match by hitting this level 12 directly with my grenade then blasting him in the chest 3 times with my handcannon followed up with my special Bladedancer knife move to the chest. Didn't even get his health bar half way down. Then he killed me with one melee move.

That's pretty common. Me dying in a millisecond while people run through anything I throw at them other than my Arc Light.

If you do one of those missions for the Queen, don't bother doing a second.

I did one, and got a Legendary helmet, which I actually needed. I now have all Legendary armor.

Then I did a second bounty for her Majesty, and got a second mission. This time I had to do the final story mission on Level 24 Epic, which was a clusterfuck. I died like 40 times, but you know what? I DID IT! My reward: The same freaking helmet! Well, almost the same, it had worse stats!

So that was a waste of a couple hours...

well at least you can break it down and get those precious parts for upgrades...these bounties have made my journey to level 28 SO MUCH easier...

Does anyone know how long the Queen's missions and bounties will be going till?

I think early October...like 4 or 6th..

Yep, most people who are seriously into the endgame are repeating the missions just to get the gear reward and are then breaking it down for ascendant materials to upgrade their own gear.

Also, the Queen's mission is random. If you don't like the one you get, return to orbit and try again.

For those who don't know when you go up into the newly opeded area behind the Bounty Board, go to the Merchant at the very end and look to your right, about mid way on the railing is a ghost....

I'm sure this is the one I didn't take off the damage original one so it didn't fit on right. On the other controller I took off the covers and then put on the GripIts and they're fine. I'm still thinking of new Thumbsticks but might just get the gripIts again.

I completed a couple of the bounties after we finished yesterday, so I would be up for another run.

I see how to get the queen's bounties, how do I get a queen's "mission"?

One just popped up for me - I think it's a push, not a pull.

It just pops up. It should be on your main orbit screen on the left hand side when you hit the "set destination" button.

You have to complete a Queens bounty, then it will let you do a Queens mission. Once you finish the mission, it's gone until you complete another bounty.

They can stack too, so if you turn in a bunch of bounties at once, it'll show that you have the same number of the Queens missions available.

Can anyone confirm that you get a Legendary item from completing the first queen mission?

For the first time since launch, I took Destiny out of the PS4 and put Knack in. I don't know what's wrong with me and why I continue to punish myself and make bad decisions.

I've done 2 missions for her, and gotten 2 legendary items. But who knows with this game? I can't say for certain if it's 100% for everybody.
