Where did you see that? Every exotic I saw uses exotic shards for the upgrade, and legendaries use the Etheric Light.

Another thing I noticed, Commendations are not used anymore. My guess is that they'll disappear from our inventories with the new DLC.

So glad I have 20 of them sitting in my vault. At least give me something for them.

my bad, I rewatched the announce video from earlier and must have seen something wrong ... none of the exotics they were upgrading were fully maxed out (only with XP) and they showed the exotic shard for the last slot .... I thought they then switched to a maxed out exotic but it was a legendary and they applied the Etheric Light to it

They forget to cover commendations in the stream. Info should be coming in the weekly update. I expect to be able to trade them in for marks. 1:10 or 1:20 ratio.

Seems I was wrong, but they have a good solution for them. Commendations trade in for 250 reputation

I was hoping it could be traded in for crucible marks. Looks like Iron Banner is on next week and the helmets will finally be on sale.

I don't know how well trying remote play on a plane would work for IB. You'd have huge lag, but probably wouldn't be able to take advantage of it due to the input lag from remote play.

I did notice one little detail. Iron Banner doesn't start until 10AM on Tuesday. Or, 8 hours AFTER reset. So much for trying to carry your rank over and buy stuff early

The weapon this week is the MIDA Multi-Tool. If you don't have one, it's a good pickup. But who doesn't have one by now?

Upgrades:

NOTE: As mentioned above, the Xur Upgrade program is going away and being replaced with your ability to upgrade anytime. Because of this, it is not recommended to upgrade any Level 300 Exotic weapons you have left and just wait. (Which if you haven't upgraded by now shouldn't be an issue). As for armor, if you want a better roll, you could still use Xur, but for the most part, it's time for a holding pattern.

However, here are this week's options:

For the Hunter, it's the Achlyophage Symbiote (117) and Mask Of The Third Man (120) Helmets. Both rolls are decent, though the Symbiote was better last week.

For the Titan, it's the Helm Of Saint-14 (117) and Helm Of Inmost Light (116) Helmets. Again, decent rolls.

For the Warlock, it's the Light Beyond Nemesis (109) Helmet and Heart Of The Praxic Fire (132) Chest. These rolls are both pretty low.

The path to 500is clear

I'd give you one if I could. I've probably broken down 4 of them.

I haven't bought anything in weeks and I still only have 66 coins. Shows you how many weekly runs I make. With my luck they will sell a Ghorn next week but it will cost 150 strange coins.

I've got at least 2 in the postmaster, maybe 3

And I still run my Weeklies every week. Still have 2 to go this week. 349 Coins.

I only ran 1 this week with musick, so I'd be up for running them with you at some point in the next few days.

God damn I have PvP. Decided to try and complete the invective bounty. Got up to 15 kept it there for a few games, had two great games, got up to 24. Then got absolutly wrecked by laggers and shitty maps, got knoced back down to 9. Between laggers, not getting credit for kills/assists, and some deaths taking away 2 points, I am beyond done.

So as I understand it, Radiant Shards will be the one thing you do need to upgrade All Armor? Same with the Energy for weapons? Besides the RAID can you trade/buy these now?

I dropped in a bit yesterday to get my weekly shards in the 1st & 2nd chest of the vault. I also grabbed the MIDA Tool since I never landed one...actually not a bad gun or at least to me it's not. Still have over 80 Coins.....

Might get back and play some again just to take break from Bloodborne. A heck of a game but come with some serious frustration and tests one patience. It's the A-Hole Invaders that's becoming a real pain ruining gameplay. Just getting the shards seemed a bit refreshing
