Psyched for my LE version. Ghost replica might have been cool, but I can live without that.

Anybody see this?

If you buy the digital version of Destiny for the PS3, you get the PS4 version for free. Buy the 360 digital version, get the XBone version free. This includes the expansion pass and DLC from the limited edition. But it doesn't include disc versions, just the digitals.

Ok I had no interest in this because I thought it was Halo under a different name. Never cared for Halo so I thought it was an easy pass.
I was at the Apple store tonight talking with the manager who was also a gamer and he said Destiny is like Mass Effect plus Borderlands with Diablo loot.
Is that right?

I can't find any fine print of real consequence.

Re: Bungie - Destiny
I thought this was really cool especially for anyone who played the first Halo under Bungie...
Here's how Halo looked back in 1999
<iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/XL0hrSSUpHw?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
In July 1999 at the Macworld conference in New York, Steve Jobs, then the interim CEO of Apple Computer, announced Halo: Combat Evolved. The game, Jobs said, would be released simultaneously on Mac and Windows PC early in the following year.
Jobs then introduced Jason Jones, co-founder of developer Bungie, who told the crowd, "Everything you're about to see is being rendered in real time on a Macintosh, using OpenGL." IGN reported at the time that Halo was a "third-person action/adventure title."
Here's the three-minute montage of Halo that Jones showed, as posted on YouTube today by Marty O'Donnell, the composer of the game's famous orchestral score.
Of course, Halo took a major departure from that point. Microsoft announced in June 2000 that it had bought Bungie, which had spent much of the 1990s focused on developing games on Mac. Bungie then turned Halo into a first-person shooter, and it was released exclusively on Xbox in November 2001 as the console's marquee launch title. Gearbox Software's PC port of the Xbox version did not arrive until September 2003, and Westlake Interactive brought the game to Mac in December 2003. Bungie split off from Microsoft in late 2007, becoming an independent studio once again.
It's come a long, long way....Bungie should be proud.

Target will be selling all their gaming cards buy 1, get 1 25% off. So you buy 2 $50 PSN cards, and get $12.50 off the second. Then if you use your red card, you get 5% off that.
You get $100 in PSN credit for $83.25, buy the PS3 Digital Guardian Edition for $90 and you still have $10 in your account. It's a no-brainer assuming you can find the cards at Target.

I read on Polygon or Kotaku that they weren't sending review copies out until very late, possibly even Monday. I don't know if we're going to see many reviews prior to release.

Late to the party, but gotta laugh at posting the ad for the COD version on Vita. Yeah. That's the same. Stretching doesn't begin to describe it.
More on point, what is the difference between the two digital versions on PS4? Does one just include the unreleased expansion packs which are $34.99? So you are saving 5 bucks?

I miss the days of being able to post at work. I'm not mad in the least. If MS isn't allowed to market the game this is just shady, that's all I'm saying. Creative way to skirt around it, but shady nonetheless.
