as mentioned by me before, unless there is a specific piece of gear you want to collect/use, if you are just trying to level up, see what the lowest level item is on your highest level character (other than boots) and use the following guide to determine which strike to run and chest to open

ex. If your lowest level gear is a helm, run the Blighted Chalice strike since you are guaranteed the helm (infuse it if you weren't running a hunter)

After weeks of high level gauntlets alluding me, I had a 400 set drop for my hunter in Trials (and a 400 warlock chest). That gets her to 399 and 400 will happen once IB hits on Tuesday. I have to be honest, I actually enjoy Trials more with no revives and radar.

Member when we had enough people to Raid? I member. Time to look to the 100 to get some runs in.

Are Faction and Vanguard gear capped at 390 or 395?

Finished one character's IB bounties last night. I'm not good at all in these "Crucible" type matches of PvP but at least in IB there are plenty like me just wanting to get the gear no matter how bad it is. When I lead the team in kills, that's saying a lot for who is out playing.

I did get my Titan to IB Level 3 from a holdout bounty that netted me a 395 Helm. Started my Hunter in IB...first time and he's already 2/3 the way. I'm just going to be playing as much as possible for the gear alone. If a group gets in I'd like to join but so far no complaints since everyone is in for gear no matter who you are.

If you're on when I'm playing you're welcome to join. I tend to be on earlier than most of the Daggers. Plus, this IB is really easy to level up. I knocked out all of the bounties on my Warlock and most on my Hunter In about 4 hours.

So I'm limited to....
Raid...which I haven't done yet...
Crucible....which I haven't done and suck at.....
Skeleton Keys and chests in Strikes getting gear and exotics which I've had luck at....
and now IB which seems to be the easiest way forward but limited to time...

....but Gunsmith can still go to_____?.

Just focus on one character in IB and use his extra crap to boost your other characters.

You left out Archon's Forge for Class Items, Ghosts and Artifacts up to 400.

And IB is Crucible. There's just more people playing when IB is around.

The Clever Dragon with high caliber rounds feels like I'm cheating.

I have a friend who sometimes sounds like a gunsmith knowing the details of the perks probably better than Bungie. There's a perk in the middle row...Braced Frame I think...that sets the stability almost at max that if you get High Caliber that gun just becomes insane. I haven't got mine leveled up to that but I might keep this one; plus for me it's at 395 which is good.

A question on the Exotic drop rate in IB....Is it close or say to doing the ToC in Strikes? I did the ToC in six matches and got two exotics which to me is not a bad ratio. But I didn't know if is it's about the same or a better chance than strikes. If anything it's much quicker.

Exotic drops are the same. Average is about 4-8 coins.

Yes, keep that gun. Not sure what your last column is, but braced frame and high caliber are the two most important. Mine doesn't even have braced frame (it has injection molding) and it's still great.

Apparently that Scout Rifle is rare; I got in with a bunch a friend is part of and all of them have been at it day one and just one has got that Scout Rifle. I did get the Sidearm and actually that's not bad...Solar at 396. I got the Sniper at 397 but it looks identical to the one I've got in The Forge. Might infuse it are just wait-and see. I have that exotic Zen Meteor at 390 and might infuse that.

...and I think the last column on the Clever Dragon is Secret Round. I will need to check all the other Clever Dragons I have...about 5 so far since it seems to be the typical gun drop

I wish. I've had a few clever dragons drop, and only one had HCR. That machine gun though...I can infuse pretty much any heavy I have to 400 that I'd use since I've gotten at least 10 of them.

Trade you a few Clever Dragons for a 400 anything.......the highest so far for me has been 397 which I was just tickled about. Just need a few more of them.

All my Heavy exotics are now 400, except for Super Good Advice, as I don't have one of those right now. I also have a shitload of 400 primaries.

Didn't get much in the way of armor. Though I bought a couple of Iron Engrams and got the Iron Regalia Vestments with a pretty damn good roll. Just need a 400 chest for it.

It's not that the scout is rare, it's that it's not the drop item this month. Pulse rifles and machine guns are the only guns you will get as a drop this month. Last month it was auto rifles and shotguns. Next month it might be scout rifles and fusions.

If someone has the scout, it came from one of the two bounties that drop legendary weapons or the quest if you still have that. Those can drop any of the current IB weapons. Same with that sidearm.
