Perks are what make a difference. Most weapons it is all about maximizing stability and/or range. Or getting temp perks that improve your time to kill. Telesto is probably one of the best fusion rifles. Drop the extra Telestro into your infusion fuel pile.

also another thing to consider since you (Buzz) are primarily a PvE player and not PvP is having a mix of special and heavy weapons with different elemental damage can be helpful

if you mean packages (armsday orders) you purchased last week prior to Wednesday but have not yet picked up, they will still be there after today just with different rolls/perks come tomorrow

Yeah, I finally had the time and desire to pop in and play some Destiny tonight, but I guess PSN had other plans.
This is why "always online" games can eat a dick. I swear, if it's not my ISP, it's some asshole's server or something usually not my fault that fucks things up for me. But I'm still paying everyone all the same!

Is there any reason to hold onto Year 1 Exotics...like all those in that 160 range? I sort of forgot how those "Blueprints" work but I glanced at them and all are 280. At this point is it worth putting anything in them?
Also I was told that the armor you get from the Sterling Cube....only The Taken armor has some "Buff" if you get the full set and not the Spectar correct? What's the overall opinion of the armor in general...worth Infusing. Some of the attributes seem ok and in line with other armor pieces.

All Exotics have carried into year 2, with the exception of Thorn, Icebreaker, Pocket Infinity, Vex Mythoclast, Necrochasm and the Gjallarhorn.
You can dismantle the year 1 exotics that aren't the above and either buy them from the kiosk or use 3 of coins to try and get them to drop.

I hope the Thorn quest is available day one. I can't wait to piss people off again during IB and get hate messages from people.

Thanks again for the tips and help guys...
On the new DLC coming....I was told that you do get the new "G-Horn" but you need to complete the mission for the opportunity to get it? Also something you also get a "Normal" G-Horn...is that correct?

There will be a quest to reforge the Gjallarhorn. It's the normal GHorn you'll get from the quest. However, once you get that one, you'll find the Iron GHorn possibly in your postmaster, or at the very least in your kiosk.

I think the thought by some is/was that the sterling treasures would revert to radiant treasures with RoI but I don't believe that will occur since as you stated (while more limited in ways to acquire) the sterling treasures aren't going away

Well that explains why we got the Sterling Box last night running the POE.....
A friend here at work is in a group that runs a lot of Raids agreed to help us (me and kanji) on a few outstanding quests and finally got around to doing the POE 41 last night. He's a 330 and basically carried me (299) and we made it all the way....I did get one exotic; heavy weapon but that went into stash for later along with the Sterling Cube.
We did get around to several others but we got lucky on hanging out with a bunch in Court of Oryx. It was like 2hrs with 5-6 of us Nothing much special but did land a few 300+ rares I can probably infuse so I can hit the 300 mark (Titan). I still cannot get a Legendary Artifact for him...

Man, I forgot how great the Siege of the War Mind mission is for completing bountys. You can knock 4 out of the 6 out today in under 5 minutes.

Thanks...my problem is I'm not really getting much in terms of 300+ Rares to drop period to infuse. I got a few last night but it was like Bam, Bam, Bam running these. I got about (12) Rares and only about (3) were worth keeping.
We're planning to run again some quests and The Court with another character and I've continued to put back any high level rares to infuse. I'll make sure to pop some tonight "Before" running anything.....last night my friend caught me off guard jumping in and offering to help while we were doing bounties. I will say doing the PoE Level 41 was as close to doing some tough Strikes again in awhile....that was intense but fun. Just need to chop away at getting everyone up above 300.
